Wow , seems to be a tedious project . But I know you can handle it . Can't wait to see it when you finish .

    Something like that used to be incredibly tedious. If you made one mistake and then had to bulldoze a ramp, flex fly or height transition as goodbye to everything else around it. But with the disconnector piece now available in the new nam fixes are a breeze leaving more time to try different creative solutions to problems. Really it's like playing a puzzle game :???:

    What I'm currently working on
    This is a little insight into how I go about building RHW interchanges, specifically Looper Junction during it's rebuilding process and the secret behind it's functionality.

    The first part of the process as with previous interchange is fiddling around with different kinds of ramps trying to figure out what can fit where and what looks best. Once the basic design is figured out, I move onto the building and refining process which would be half completed from the figuring it out part but here's an example of a build out of one ramp from the start to finish.

    I made a custom piece for Looper that is functional thanks to the use of a subway tunnel(s). First I placemark where the opposite end of the hidden tunnels will go.

    The hidden tunnel pieces are placed and connected via one way roads as the tunnels can't connect directly to the RHW. The pieces are staggered sp that they are not directly next to each other, that way it keeps northbound ans southbound traffic separate. Traffic can u-turn if the tunnel pieces are placed next to each other.

    Next the starter pieces for the RHW ramps are placed.

    And then the highway itself is connected to the hidden tunnel sections.

    Next the ramps are placed.

    And the starter pieces are dragged out.

    The height transitions are then placed.

    And then finally the custom built piece...

    ...is placed.

    I've since fixed that slight texture irregularity seen in the southbound lanes of the piece.
    After which peripherals such as lights, signage and where possible/applicable cosmetic lane pieces are placed.

    After which mmp's and vehicles will be added for the finished touches.

    Hope this was helpful and/or informative. :)

    What I'm currently working on;
    The RHW IRP. Then again thanks to all the new content the NAM team has been pumping out you could say I'm always working on the Interchange Rebuild Project.

    I've once again rebuilt the 705/709 interchange for what feels like theumpteenth time. This smallish 3 way interchange is located in the south east corner of Lindin City. The interchange and its latest rebuild is not worth a full update on my primary CJ thread, as I've set a self-imposed baseline requirement of a dozens plus pictures featuring multiple locations for each entry there. But I think this topic is a good place to post smaller changes like these from my older cities.

    Once again, the first 3 or 4 versions;

    And after today's rebuild... I think I'll call it the Butterfly Interchange.

    The biggest change this time is not with the RHW itself but the landscaping around it.

    I love your work, really.  You do an amazing job, not just with the interchanges, but all the details around them, as well.  Heh, I don't know if you remember, but I used to live in Japan, and that's where my current copy of SC4 comes from.  It was a little weird seeing your drivers on the right side of the road, hahahaha!

    Anyways, I'll pop back in again, hopefully sooner rather than later.  Great work!
