He was one heck of an actor. Loved him in "In cold Blood".

His co-star, another great character actor, Scott Wilson passed away 5 years ago. You may remember him recently, from The Walking Dead(if you watch that sort of stuff). I just found out yesterday that another great veteran character actor from the golden age(50's-80's) of films, L.Q. Jones passed last year. Always played the second heavy(the one who gets shot first) and is in the Cowboy Hall of Fame. RIP at 94-

Jim Brown-athlete/actor/activist age 87 RIP

Jim Brown was virtually unstoppable in every arena.

Whether on the field, as a Hollywood film hero or civil rights advocate, Brown was a force.

One of the greatest players in NFL history, Brown, who retired at the peak of his playing career to pursue acting and remained in the public spotlight as an activist — and due to off-field transgressions that included allegations of violence against women — has died. He was 87.

Bob Barker, game show host of The Price is Right age 99(3 months shy of 100) RIP

a guy we all loved, but was, like the rest of us... complicated. However, for many of us, he will live on forever as the nemesis of... not Happy Gilmore, but of Snoop Dogg.

Laughter is the very best medicine. Remember that when your appendix bursts next week.

“Space is big. You just won’t believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it’s long way down the road to the chemist’s, but that’s just peanuts to space.”

GOOD TEXTURES ARE MADE, NOT FOUND.
(I get tired of saying that in BAT threads.)

"Never keep up with the Joneses. Drag them down to your level." - Quentin Crisp
"I believe in talking behind peoples' backs. That way, they hear it more than once." - Fran Lebowitz
"Ordinary morality is for ordinary people." - Aleister Crowley
"No one ever said on their deathbed, 'Gee, I wish I had spent more time alone with my computer.' " - Dani Bunten Berry
