Regresado City is my first city since I last played Simcity 4 years ago. It's much better than the cities I made, not because it has skyscrapers (I was able to get them last time I played) but that it's functionally stable and has...more skyscrapers. The full city showcase is here:

UPDATE: Second entry here:

I plan to make a "real" city in the future, utilizing more NAM and custom buildings. But the vanilla game is still quite nice (in terms of aesthetics. The city was built with any passive effects the NAM has)

See that huge condo from the Euro tileset? I like that building.

Yes, please as much as possible, avoid double posting. :)

Aside from that, you should get a slope mod, you can search it in the net, when I started my cj back then that was also the first thing the others told me to have. It will make your city looks better and it will remove those ugly road bumps. Also, you can search the stex for more interesting buildings, I agree with you some that Maxis buildings are aesthetically good but too much of them makes the city so repetitive, be careful though some plugins require a lot of dependencies.

    TEiKO. IT'S MORE FUN HERE!

What good would it bring if a man gains the whole world but loses his soul the one he loves?

You can also find me in skyscrapercity, sc4devotions, yaoi otaku forum, anime-manga forum, the blue knight forum, mangafox, archives of our own, fanfiction, tumblr, blogspot, instagram, facebook and twitter.

Sorry! In the forums I went to in the past bumping was okay as long as it wasn't excessive.

I'll go look for one right now. Although, I didn't completely level out that region so it has a bunch of weird slopes and stuff. My new city will be on much flatter ground. As for custom buildings, I do in fact have several of them installed but they don't seem to occur frequently. Maybe it's because by the time I downloaded them the entire region was developed and they're unlikely to replace the buildings? I have a lot more waiting in my Downloads folder so perhaps if I have more of them they will occur more frequently!
