Some buildings in SimCity 4 Deluxe is a type of envelope, there how to remove them or release them.

I'm assuming you mean the brown box you get from a missing plugin file?

Usually brown boxes = missing dependencies.
Check the description / readme of the custom lots, making sure you install any additional files. These are usually prop or texture packs.

Query the brown box to find out what building it 'should' be.  Then go back to the website you downloaded the building and make sure you have all the dependencies.  Sometimes, there is a readme file that will state what the dependencies are and where you can find them.  Make sure you have all the dependencies in your plugin directory.  Also, any BAT the you download may have a .SC4Lot file, a .SC4Desc file and a .SC4Model file.  Sometimes the brown boxes can be caused by a missing .SC4Model file.  If the BAT came with only a .dat file, then it should have all the necessary information in the file and you will need to look for the dependencies.
