Arcology doesn't work in single player offline mode?

I built the arcology in my region. It's level 8, but it doesn't seem like it feeds workers, shoppers or student to my city. I still have a lot available jobs. Is this supposed to be how it works?

Hmm...I can't give you a better explanation I'm still experimenting with it. Btw, do you have a good mass transit around your current city? Like a passenger train + short commute time between buses, airships as well as trains? I assume that maybe the cause of it.

This is my figure with level 8 Arcology. Workers and Shoppers except student commute to my city.

 

 

My setup was as for low wealth and medium wealth, I provide both Terminal buses as well as train station lots of Park & Rides and bus stops.. As for and High wealth, they can drive their car to the city. Same applies to Shoppers. I have no clue why there aren't any students commute to the city even my colleges have extra desk to fill.

I have a train, but I don't have Terminal buses. In my city, I use streetcar.

I will try to add better transportation. But anyways though, my arcology says I have more than a million people live there. Is that how it looks like in yours?

Trains are very buggy, only the first station will work at max efficiency and adding more will make the whole system go kaboom. Currently, bus terminal is the only way to go for Arcology.

it must be a game issue.

 

my transportation is immaculate, in both cities.

 

no new shopper, no new students at uni, college or grade school, still lacking workers.

 

wishing I could bulldoze it, but maybe that wouldn't help? Is it possible to take an offline city online?

sometimes it just takes awhile for the arcology to "wake up", but when it does, be ready for the heat! It causes SOOO MUCH traffic! So much, that baddies think its a bug!

I must agree, Arcology doesn't seems that is working offline. I have build one many hours ago, almost two months ingame, and saw no difference. 

 

I have no traffic issues, everything is nicely lay down but no workers, students or shoppers.
