ST/Exchange Downloading Error 404 message

I am currently using a MacBook Pro with an updated OS X operating system. I'm having difficulty downloading from the STEX. Anytime I click to download, I am redirected to an Error 404 page. Since I did not encounter this problem when I used my older PC and other Mac users in the forum don't seem to be having an issue, I must be missing a piece of software or file translator. 

 

I was excited to discover that Simcity4 deluxe was available through the App store and would love to customize my cities with the uploads from the exchange

Try using another browser.  I haven't heard of any problems linked to Safari, but it's worth a shot.

The newly release Aspyr version is optimized for OS/X.  However, I haven't seen any evidence that it includes the fixes that are contained in the Windows EP1 patch for the game which fixes several bugs.  Does anyone know if this is included? and if so, what about the night-lights patch?

AFAIK, Aspyr didn't include either of those patches. Kinda lame, huh?

I have the same impression as does the NAM team.  Too bad.  Really invalidates the work, and could have been done if they have the source, which they clearly do.  Just a pot-boiler for the unwary.
