Missing dependency

Perhaps you guys can help me, I've looked in the readme files of the Sim Tropolis Police Headquarters that Joerg made. But couldn't find the Dependencies I'm looking for to

fix that lot so I can add it to my city in which I call Springfield. I named the city after Bart Simpson's home town (the cartoon character). Here's a little secret I discovered from that cartoon. The City Of Springfield, where Bart Simspon lives is from Springfield,Oregon. Millionaire on my facebook page asked that ? and I did some research and found that out.

    Let's keep on topic please...

Strangely joerg's police HQ isn't listed in his content. However, a quick search found which I assume is the one your referring to.

I can confirm this lot uses a combination of Maxis commercial office buildings. So you'll need the "Maxis building as props" files, available here:
    - bldgprop_vol1
    - bldgprop_vol2

These allow Maxis buildings to be shown on custom lots.
In the early days of custom content, they weren't always listed as a dependency. This is because it was assumed everyone had them from the official SimCity 4 exchange (now defunct).

So downloading, extracting the .zip and placing these files in your plugins folder should do the trick.

    Quick Links

AdFly will pay people to send traffic through their site, so may people use AdFly-shortened links.  You just have to wait for the ad to finish, and then click the "SKIP" button in the upper-right-hand corner to go to the actual link.

What CB posts is his business, and I can understand the need for a little extra income, but I agree that such links can be very confusing to non-internet-savvy forumers.

That's something that's been incorporated into the forum software, as in the bugs thread.

I didn't choose this to happen in my post -- it only seems to affect links to selected sites, SC4D being one of them.

Instead, an alternate place to download the bldgprop files is here (scroll down).

Yikes!  Time for a donation drive.  I never thought about it, but I guess the flood of new members interested in SC2013 have no reason to buy the STEX discs.  Revenue is probably pretty low right now.

The progression is scary.  A few ads here and there were hardly noticeable, but it might be time to start worrying.

I have made a number of files on the CBEX public downloads ie you don't need an account to download them

    http://citybuilders.co.nz/index.php/cbex/viewcategory/11-cb-public-downloads

if there are any others in the CBEX you consider essential downloads I'm happy to shift them over into this area

I wouldn't say i was un savvy of the added layer, ive bypassed the wait period when i use full urls in sc4d and not shortened links.  I just didnt realize it was allowed and "WHEN' .  its been so long since ive used sd4
