Like the famous novel, the main rule of this forum game is that you cannot use the letter 'e'. Ever. Each person is to post a one sentence reply and hopefully we can get a semi-intelligible conversation going.

I would say what I could say, but I must follow your ban on posts with two-plus full stops; smart grammar and punctuation may aid in this task, and so may gross compound formations, which allow for a paragraph by going on and on and on without stopping until you run out of air and must pick if you will halt talking or fail to stay lucid bananas.

It's not too hard, although it is a tad wordy. Basically: if a guy or gal puts down what ROFLyoshi holds taboo, you can point it out without having to follow ROFLyoshi's command. Upon finishing pointing it out, you must start following it again.

 

And I know I am grossly flouting Yoshi's post span limit. In for a fil, in for a dinar, as you may say in Iraq (or d (archaic)/p (now) and £ to both stay in Britain and avoid a pitfall, but using symbols is iffy, particularly for pithy sayings, maxims, and aphorisms).

I was basically saying that rule-breakers; those who use the letter e, shall be punished. Their "damaging bragadoccio campaign" constitutes the amalgam of their poorly made word choices. Anyways...

As for your clarification proposal: disallow away! I shall toil in what chains you bind us with.

 

Bipin: your skill is good, not poor; with a dictionary (which I admit to using on occasion) you may find your clarity boosts a thousandfold. This holds for Yoshi too.

Without any doubt any Simtropolis inhabitant who can - or must, I should say! - conduct his communication in an idiom that is not "natural", as you call it, is struggling with additional handicaps originating from a difficult hunt for synonyms that may act as a suitably qualifying substitution for that word that is not to turn up in a post or contribution and that this inhabitant must avoid at all costs owing to it containing that iffy glyph this topic is focusing on. Much to my gratification I can avow that a normal bilingual dictionary works miraculously for this task, for it is by its natural configuration a good listing of synonyms that may turn out to work just as good as that word which a post - alas! - must lack. Writing of posting, I should hurry up and post this now so as to avoid additional participants to this discussion causing a discontinuation of that flow of artful chit-chat into which I am trying to instil this haphazardly undulating and roaming talk.

 

P.S.: I still think it is flabbergasting that such a way of writing works at all! In my own idiom, it wouldn't.
