Hello all,

Having an issue with the street lights being far too bright. Perhaps I have a conflict with a light mod? Also my traffic signals do not work at all. They do not change nor does traffic stop. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Looks like you have MandelSoft's Light Replacement Mod installed. That's a known issue caused by two streetlight props being placed closed together and the creator can't do anything much about it for solving it.

Thank you GeometryMath Algebra, that was the problem! I removed the mod but now I have brown boxes where the lamp posts were. I tried replopping the streets but the boxes reappear. If I reinstal the mod, the lamp posts comeback but the original glare problem returns. Anyone has any ideas how to solve this?

My biggest issue is that my streets are so dark.

    Thanks again!

    Maybe try:

    • Uninstall the LRM (make sure all files are removed).
    • Bulldoze all affected streets / roads.
    • Save your city.
    • See if the problem is resolved.
    • If so, repeat for any other cities.

I would run step 2 before step 1.  Missing plugins can cause cities to be inaccessible.

Nah, with uninstalling the LRM, you'll be just fine. It will only give some brown boxes or completely missing props, which will fix themselves over time... ;)

And you can occasionally click crossings with street/road tool to speed the process. It updates the driveway for several tiles.
