The best way to know who is moderating what forum is to check All Forums and look at the column at the farthest right.

Nothing like resurrecting an old thread.

The fact is, becoming a moderator is a matter of arm twisting and not of volunteering.  If you want to be one, you probably don't deserve any of the privileges that go with it, and won't properly discharge the duties.

He's now asking to be one. He (she?) is asking how to be one. So your quote doesn't fit the situation. Something along the lines of "Asling how to become a moderator is going to make you look like a $%&^!, if if you didn't do it on purpose, as much as asking to be a moderator" would be better.
