Is there a offline mode coming for Simcity and also bigger map sizes?

Its been well over a month since there was mention that a offline mode and bigger maps is coming for Simcity,does anyone have any updates?

Nothing has been confirmed as of yet. I wouldn't get too optimistic - lots of these statements are only rumours.

There's probably more chance of bigger maps than adding a dedicated offline mode. They did hint this was a possibility earlier on.

Bigger maps would be great but even that. What does it mean for allready existing cities?

When the tile becmes bigger what happens with you city?

A nice feature would be: being able to purchase land around your city tile. To expand, but still have to work for it.
