All I have is the origin folder, (c:\program files (x86)\ origin) there is no SimCity folder inside the folder. I'm wondering do I just create one ? or how does it work?

Do you have a folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity"?

Ay yall, When yall roll into ProgramFiles(x86), click on ORIGINGAMES and not the origin folder. It's up in there...

For those who can't find "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity"

Check where you have SimCity installed.  "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity" is the default installation directory. For me, I have setup origin to install games into "F:\Origin" so for me it's "F:\Origin\SimCity\SimCityData".

If you don't know where you have SimCity installed, either you can search for it, or open Origin, Click on "Origin" on the top left corner, select "Application Settings" and go to "Advanced"

Downloaded Games - Means where your games are installed. ( this is the folder you need to look for )
Game Installer - Where Origin stores the installer for the games ( not important for us )

I hope this helps :)

A bit late, but for anyone on 32 bit windows, you go to: C:\Program Files\Origin Games\SimCity

This is because the (x86) bit means that it is a 32 bit program, but on 32 bit windows, all programs are 32 bit so windows misses that bit out.

This is coming in late, but thanks for updating us with this, guys :). I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates it.

Hi everyone.

I am playing on another windows 10 and the normal method of putting it in the the simcitydata file doesn't work. I've also tried putting it in the locale folder and still no joy. Anyone have any suggestions? I've spent the last hour trying to work this out :(
