Looks really great and interesting! 1.gif  It's cool to see my own country represented here in the shape of a SC4-creation. The city-names are charming as well. 29.gif

how did you get those Dutch cows? 18.gif

I vote for A, the purple line. You don't the yellow line interfering with access to your waterfront and the blue line requires too many bridges. 9.gif

Hoe kom je aan de props voor de Connexxion bus en de politie auto, heb je die hier vandaan. Ik zou ze graag in mijn regio's willen gebruiken. kan ik eindelijk zelf eens een Connexxion bus aan gort rijden!!

i vote for line A: Purple Line. Mostly the same idea as what mayormommy said, the blue line has too many bridges causing longer commutes and the yellow line interferes with coast access. looking forward to more44.gif

I am really enjoying your CJ so far. It is wonderful... Holland is one of my favourite countries (I have some dutch background), and I LOVE seeing your representations of the canals and dijks etc.
    Erg mooi!
It is getting me thinking about doing a CJ myself... maybe after summer is over and the nights are longer!!!

I vote for A-purple. It is a more logical route and doesn't disrupt your town too much. You can add bus stops to link together.

Is your little dorpie going to become a stadt?

    44.gif love to the dutch18.gif

I think route B would be best, but with the station by the riverside and then you could hook up a ferry service. Just an idea. 42.gif  Love this CJ.

I'll vote for the yellow one. So the passenger trains don't have to pass the industry railstation. And it's very close to the centre.
    Keep it up, utora!!44.gif

Heel erg mooi stad/dorp, het doet me inderdaad veel aan nederland denken. Just for the record, ik kom uit Capelle aan den IJssel, naast Rotterdam.

Very very nice, keep it up! Oh, I would go for option (A) it would be cheapest and lowest commute time.

thanx for the compliment Jasper!! I'm from Leiden. The final goal of this journal is to create a realistic picture of The Netherlands, but I wanted to start somewhere in history, when Holland mainly consisted of small farming towns. Since I'm a realism-freak it'll take a lot of time, especially because there's a storyline too.
(My answers will be in English, so everybody can understand). Btw I'm glad to see KLM airplanes on the STEX now, I'll definitely use them in the future! Beware for the next update!

BTW, voting is no longer possible now!!

    Utora,

You have such great ideas for your city journal. This is an awesome city journal. And the storyline is amazing. I cant wait for the coming updates, because I know they'll be good. And you're just like me, realism!

    Good luck!!!

Mikeaut: Wow! thanx for the compliment, this really gets me motivated! Btw, you've got a more than excellent journal yourself!
Subedei: I'll definitely keep the updates coming, but, you know: writing a story means suffering sometimes.. Anyway, I'm very busy with other things at the moment (exams!!15.gif) so that means that only after 26th of August I'll have plenty of time to update more frequently!

I just hope you like the story and pics, and for that matter, I hope more people will comment!!!

    important message

For the next couple of weeks I won't be able to post any updates for the NH-journal.

Due to a lack of time, inspiration and with some major exams coming up, the further creation of the New Holland region will be suspended....

By then, I hope I can show you some more interesting updates! I feel a bit stuck, on a dead end with the storyline of the journal, so I guess I'll have to do a meditation-retreatment or something, to regain inspiration...

Hope you'll understand. Btw does anyone read the actual story? otherwise I'll end it and stay with the development of the region. Suggestions? 42.gif  Gr Utora

What you describe about being stuck & lack of inspiration - that happens to me also sometimes. We'll just have to wait until you are eager again. If your heart's not in it - it won't be as good as it could be, and no-one wants that.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of New Holland soon!

    Good luck with exams etc.
