Parking Lots : I need them! Help Appreciated!

So I went and cleaned out my plugins folder and stupid me forgot to back up one of my favorite mods! I don't know the name of the mod, but it was a pack of parking lots with some basic gritty industrial parking lots as well as commercial lot. You could plop parking lots in sizes like 1x1 (with straight or diagonal parking), 1x2, 3x3, 4x3, 4x4, etc etc. There where different versions of each size : $, $$ and $$$. The higher the wealth of the lot the better it looked, and some of the larger $$$ lots had commercial stuff like signs, decorations, and some had shopping carts in the middle.

 

It also came in two versions, transit enabled (so you could connect a road to it I believe), and a non-transit enabled version. They also provided jobs for people and gave you a small amount of monthly income.

 

Now I wish I could find that mod again, and I hope that someone knows what mod I'm talking about. I tried searching on STEX and LEX for that mod but I cant find it.

 

Anyways, I'm looking for other parking lot mods similar to the above.

- Mods with different sized lots is nice, or at least a bunch of mods with different sizes

- I prefer having lots that are functional

- Provides monthly income

- (Optional) Provides jobs since there should be at least a few people managing a parking lot (though I'm noticing newer parking lots have automated systems that remove the need for people)

 

If anyone has any decent parking lot mods it would really help, I love adding parking lots in lower\medium density commercial, industrial and downtown areas as well as add ons to train stations or making my own bus depots

Patience No need to bump your thread so soon. The thread was also bugged for a while, which caused it to show up in a wrong section of the forum and people could not reply for a while (but as you can see that's fixed now). Like infamousjbe said, you can also try to post your question in the 'Can't find it'-thread to increase your chances of finding what you search

1st is known, but the second one....... the second one..... AWESOME! I've yet to come across that particular roundabout filler. Thank you for that one.

 

 

Been noticing lately that some CC come with that obscure parking lot puzzle/park piece but isn't clearly stated as part of the main CC download. Find it like the prize in the Cracker Jacks box..  

 

EDIT: And the fact that I already have the exact roundabout for this lot makes it all the more better too.

I'm not much for the fancy underground parking, its not as common here in Canada, or North America, as it might be in say, Europe or Asia.

 

So I tried making a city fairly close to my current city and home town, Oshawa, Placing Pengs Parking lots around the city as public and private parking, im making 7,500 bucks a month! CUrrently Oshawa in the game is at 95,000 people. I wonder how much I'll be making form parking lots when I expand the city and reach 150,000 people.

So I tried making a city fairly close to my current city and home town, Oshawa, Placing Pengs Parking lots around the city as public and private parking, im making 7,500 bucks a month! CUrrently Oshawa in the game is at 95,000 people. I wonder how much I'll be making form parking lots when I expand the city and reach 150,000 people.

 

If you want to build parking garages but not underground parking garages you can also use these two:

 

Those garages are very realistic and are great in urban areas.

The modulars are bookmarked so far. Don't feel my region is mature enough yet for the larger parking structures, but they will be nice once it comes time to drop them in the plugins.

 

The MS lots I felt were a bit too European at first glance, but since you've brought them back to my attention, and I actually looked through all the photos, there are a couple street side parking lots that might work nicely in my urban side street neighborhoods. Pretty sure I can weed through the lots I want to use and keep the ones I don't out of the plugins folder.

EDIT: The creator of the the HH Modular set has a bunch more parking lot bats uploaded to the STEX here. AND an MML for them all! Kudos for that.

Ive actually been looking for some nice street side parking mods, I don't really like diagonal or parking where the road goes | \/ | /\ | and the parking is < / >. I prefer parking lanes that are perpendicular to the road like  how I see in North America  like | P | \/ | \/ | /\ | /\ | P | (P = parking lane)

 Actually In the bigger Cities In America use Underground parking,And Parking decks where I live we have a few Tall parking deck,especally at aiports we have 7 level and 8 level decks.
