PS3 or Xbox? what shoould I get?

Umm, blaze... that is pretty much completely wrong lol.

1. PS3 will be even more expensive than the Xbox 360 Premium version.
2. While it does have better hardware, its graphics won't be all that much better than the Xbox 360's, since the 360 has a great graphics card.
3. Sony's online network is MUCH worse than Xbox live. If you are really into online gaming, the 360 is really the only option.

For the people that can't really afford 6 consols you really have to be religious with your consols... you know... beleive...

If you love playstation - buy PS3...

If you love Xbox... buy 360...

If you love GC... you know what i mean...

 

But you forget one important detail that will always be with you and HAVE to be with you for the simple fact of life ...until a big virus comes out...

 

THE PC!

Basically this is a necissity for anything to run in your futuristic home, with or without the games consol.  Unlike the consols, it has many options to upgrade and add more to it.

 

My best advice to you if you can't decide... Upgrade your PC, becuase eventually it's going to overtake your games consol when it is weighed with performance and uses!

While the Revolution will most definitely be less powerful than Xbox360 and PS3, we still do not know exactly how much, so I doubt any PS3 is 15 times more powerful stuff. I also doubt PS3 will be much more powerful than Xbox360. Sony lies so much...

Don't quote me on this, but I think that the Xbox 360 is going to have a much broader range of games than the origional Xbox. Sure, it is still going to be dominated by FPS games - I wouldn't have it any other way, but I think that the 360 will have all sorts of games, simply because of its huge populatiry.

I think sony made a bad move by waiting to release the PS3. I love sony but im not going to wait until the Ps3 comes out when the xbox 360 is out now. I probly wont get a PS3 until its price goes down to about $200. Im sure many other people will do the same.

I'll pick none of the above -- a waste of money + DRM infested.

XBox360 - Pretty good, but at $500 it is steep. Let see how M$ does this time.

Rev - Nothing yet.

PS3 - Sony? No way. I'll see to it if it is made by Toshiba or something... but I'll never buy a Sony again -- All style and number and no substance (100W subwoofer can't beat a Sennheiser 40W IIRC, and camcorder $1199 when the others do it for $999 plus more features.)

Conclusion: I'll take the money and upgrade my PC .

I never really liked Halo, and since, IMO, that's the only positive to the XBox, I most likely will never desire a 360.

I'll be getting a PS3, probably ONLY if the rumors are true and they make a full remake of Final Fantasy VII.

 

I'll most definately get a Revolution, since the price will be right and I love the direction they're taking it.

 

 

Aside from that, I'll stick to my PC and the remainder of GCN heavy hitters, like Zelda: Twilight Princess and Mario 128.

Revolution. I know that's not an option, but it has the best games, will be the cheapest, and Nintendo are the most ethical company out of the three. Plus it's innovative and compact, looks the best, and you'll be able to play pratically any game made for any nintendo console ever!

I was just pointing out un-'marioish' games. Personly I think the Nintendo games are some of the best around.
