Processors not shipping

It says storage is full at the processor factory and I have the max amount of garages for the processor factory and the trade depot. It is not being moved to the trade depot to be shipped. Has anyone else had this issue and does anybody know how to fix this issue? It is crippling my city!

Same here, but with oil. Ended up impossibly bankrupt taking out bonds waiting for the region to pick up.

Today a Port with an ore lot refused to accept ore. Trucks arrived, animation happened, trucks left, still with ore. I ended up demolishing the ore lot, turning off the Trade HQ for a game hour, and making a new ore depot. I don't know if that would help with the depot problem. Collection trucks now nowhere to be seen, but the train runs okay.

This is all something new.

I think the problem is same as the other post see "coal mine storage bug".

Your trucks disappeared!  I checked other websites see "simcity trade depot not exporting".  It happens when you demolish a road with your trucks in it, or when a disaster occurs.  It permanently erases your trucks.

I know how to fix it. Just take the game, throw it in the garbage, and tell them fools at EA to kiss our hind parts, and go figure out how to make an actual simulation game.

I sat and watched yesterday, and I don't think this is the full story.

Trucks from the region that take the exported goods away have vanished. None arrive. I have full storage bays set to export of plastic, alloy, ore and oil. In the trade map there are no little incoming icons anywhere by road. All of the "delivery" (as in, internal to the city) trucks are there, driving around full of ore/oil/whatever looking for somewhere to dump it as all the storage is full. I can't delete and reconstitute the region trucks, they come from the region, not the trade depot/port. I can get the port to export, but only via rail.

Other trucks do wander off too. I watched the garbage map for a while and one by one each of my garbage and recycling trucks hit the highway (a highway to infinity, as in off the region map, this city being at the edge of the world) and never return. This is from the sole city in the region and no vehicles are volunteered. So roughly every two game days I have to replace all my recycling collection and delivery trucks as well as all the garbage trucks. Two police cars also decided to leave, and never returned. It's very annoying, almost to the point of making the game unplayable.

Actually, if I remember correctly, they sort of do come from the trade depot/port... I think I remember reading that you get one global market truck for every lot that you add. So even if all of the lots aren't full, adding additional lots of that same type should draw additional/new trucks from the global market.

Thanks, I thought about that, I even made a brand new trade depot with duplicate storage. Nothing came, it just filled up with commodities.

I can second that 'coal mine storage bug', the trucks disappear. The worst part is that even if you bulldoze the garages and build new ones, there are no trucks...

Good ol' Liberty Islands! Someday, I'll repost my old CJ.

I have a further few observations on this, which I think stems from the "agents for everything" system.

If you have more than one trade depot, then the closest to the highway will be serviced ahead of the others, so don't have the same lots at both, the back one will just fill up.

It's more of an issue with adding value to commodities. I was watching today, a city that refines ore into alloy and metal. There is no coal, so that is imported. Two mines dig up the ore, and as there was so much more than could be refined I exported some via a trade port, which also imported the coal.

Herewith the problem. Smelter 1 becomes low on ore. All the "truck" agents at the port load up with ore. Yes, all 12 of them. They race the block or two to the smelter. More ore is delivered to the port just after they leave, filling the port. Now we have 12 trucks full of ore heading to deliver to a refinery that needs one truck load. The first truck arrives, and drops off the ore, filling the ore storage at the smelter. He returns, but being an ore truck fills up with ore again for no reason. The other 11 panic, and head home, to discover it's been filled with ore, so they can't dump their unwanted loads, so with nowhere to go they drive aimlessly around the map. Smelters 1 and 2 now run out of coal, but because all the delivery trucks are full of ore coal can't be delivered, so both grind to a halt waiting for coal. This cannot ever be delivered because the port trucks are full of ore, which has nowhere to go. The whole specialisation collapses while I am trying to work out where next to zone. The remedy is to export all the ore, then re-import it (or wait for a mine). This takes ages because no more road trucks come to my city at the end of the world, and the train insists on taking only plastic, so I have to turn that to "use locally" and fill up the recycling centre, which stops working...

Meanwhile the school sends out buses in a conga line that visit one stop at a time, the second discovering the first has taken the students. So they follow to the next (after waiting) until bus 1 is full, and it heads back to the school. Bus 2 now heads the pack, and it takes until 1450 to get 90% around the map, so some dwellings moan they can't get to school.

In short the AI is high on A but low on I.

I had a trading port with full alloy and the trucks wouldn't deliver it. I noticed my tv delivery trucks from a completely different trading port would come in and park in my alloy port garages and when they left, they left with nothing. But the alloy just sat there stockpiled collecting dust. I tried exporting it, tried gifting it, tried everything but the delivery trucks would not take it anywhere. This caused my recycle center to fill up and now it won't pick anything up.

I think 98% of all agent issues and problems stem from one simple fact: Agents are not aware of or incapable of seeing what any of the other agents are doing so they don't take into account if there are one, six, or twenty other agents already en-route to that sink/destination/pick-up/drop-off/etc. because all it can see is that there is an unfulfilled sink.

It's quite surprising these agents aren't capable of "reserving" sinks once they are en-route when you consider that's exactly how workers and jobs function.

But Guillaume Pierre has said he's been working on a fix for this which will completely changes how vehicles select destinations.... Hopefully we'll see it part of the next big patch that's coming in a couple of weeks... *fingers crossed*

That would resolve a significant number of issues from buses to garbage collection!

Really quick, I was just messaging one of the devs.  If you provide your

User Name:

Server Name:

Region Name:

City name:

Short specific description of each bug as it relates to trade they will look at it.  There is a bug that's already been worked on for a while that I know about myself and should be in 5.0 re the garbage and recycling trucks and functions, however they are different agents from the trade items you have listed.

Listing your information will get it in front of those at maxis.

Jeff

<copy and paste issues from above> key problem - no regional trucks to trade ports or depots, other bizarre agent behaviour.

Thanks.

Thanks, much appreciated. It's been hit by another meteor strike, which has pretty much bankrupted it!

your welcome.. I came online and into the groups to help if I can so that's what i'm doing.. gave your information to them in pvt directly .. he is busy working on several things but just have to wait and see what he says.

as far as disasters

I really wish we had an option for turning it on and off completely

I know its been mentioned and is on the list but not a priority.. i'm surprised someone hasn't created a mod to turn them off since we can turn them on
