Wow, that looks great! Great job!!

I'd suggest, if you haven't already, try changing the texture on the roof to a planar texture and seeing if that works.

Good luck!

    pretty work 1.gif

but the windows look to dark to me... try something with more blue and less dark

and also try to make the citigroup logo come out of the building. it looks rather dark that way

Very cool building. Your model looks very realistic. I love it. I cant wait to see it at the stex. Could you explain what you mean when you say, you are going to make the windows reflect that photo of the sky. I dont really understand that. Great Job, so far Dudy.44.gif

Looking at this, I see that it will be perfect in conjunction with Rickk's First interstate/Library Tower.

cool, but we havent seen anything since the gmax scene, care to give us something so we at least have an idea of what you're releasing?

BTW - thanks for taking the category of box skyscrapers.  its something SC lacks and something people hate to re-create.  good job on citigroup too!

I know. SC4 need s more boxy buildings. I have 6 diffent boxy buildings ready to export.
They are samples but i'm working on details
    I will adopt Mid-Rise, Low-Rise modern buildings

I will need a modder to do a special work when you query the building!
i was testing Datgen but when i query the modded lot SC4 crashes.
and i want a different Info window instead of that basic landmark query info
    Can someone help me?

One Wilshire Downtown Los Angeles (Black Building) Aon Center

Of those two I would personally prefer the Aon Center, since it stands out in the LA skyline, while One Wilshire dissapears behind several other buildings around it. But, that's just my opinion.

Oh and if you even need any insight into LA's buildings let me know, I've lived in LA going on 4 years now, so I know my way around the buildings pretty well. I don't really get a ton of time where I could go out and take a bunch of pictures of specific buildings anymore, but I'm sure there's some useful info I could give you.

ah, now I see the interest in making some LA buildings. I thought maybe you just saw how nice some of the buildings were and decided to try and recreate some of them.

Go with the AON Center. Like I said above, your Citygroup center, Rickk's Library Tower, and the (future) AON Center (and a few other towers if anyone wants to make them) could all go together as a LA-themed tileset.

BTW, how tall is the AON?

The Aon has been done twice already, but I'm not entirely sure which one. Is there one in Chicago as well?

Yep, the one you're talking about is in Chicago (the big white tower). We're talking about the AON in L.A.
