What service do you plop first?

I am sure it will depend on if you are the first city in a region but what service do you like to plop first?

 

For me, although it isn't a "service" I like to get my Sims educated, and then it seems that it gives you a little longer before you have to add a Medical (usually my first true service) then fire/police.

Power.

I only play on a private server. After that I put down some water towers. You can't build your city without those 2 essentials.

between fire, health, police, and education, I usually place fire or health depending on which is needed more and most the time it's fire cause my city starts burning down, I only place education if I'm doing high tech city or if people start complaining about it

lol well in that case, I put down either a clinic or fire station. I do education later when I have enough residents to tax and a reasonable $ and hour.

I take the other approach. I put down a school and then have almost no crime and minimal fires.

I always place down health first. I play slowly so my low wealth sims always end up sick before anything else becomes a problem.

Grade school, as soon as I see first injury clinic, then as the first fire starts fire station, then when I see the first criminal police station.

Depends on the specialisation. If it's tech or gambling, then education. If it's anything else, health (sick sims don't work).

- Electrical

- Water

- HEalth

- Fire

- Garbage

- Police

- Education

 

At least, that is what they demand if you are building without freedom.

 

But sometimes it also depends on what you will actually be building.
