As the number of views in in the small 000's I thought I would just post a link to a review of Sim City 2013, in case anyone else is interested..

I liked it, maybe some of you will..

Kinda old news, we all bit the bullet. We play it as we must... we can rant all we want but they will still DRM us on all future games... it's simply more profitable and that is what it all comes down to in the end.

Just on forums for my countrymen I can see that over 30 people that would have pirated it instantly have brought the retail version.

It's just one long anti-DRM rant.

It is, most of his videos are rants, but they contain a more intelligent and experienced view than other video reviews (in my opinion)..

Whereas Angry Joe has massive popularity (rightfully so) due to his charisma, this guy (I believe) always hits the mark with his rants..

You would probably have to give a few of his other rants a go though, which broach subjects like the difference between video game violence and real violence and the various "isms" that have a place in gaming.

Good point. I have seen a few other Jimquisition videos and you're right on both counts: they're mostly rants, and they're more intelligent, better thought out and far more entertaining than your average Youtube videogames rant. I guess this video was actually pretty good, it's just that I'm a bit tired of anti-SimCity rants at the moment - though if they had all been as high quality as this one, I probably wouldn't be tired of them yet.

As with any spoken <whatever>, they're always better with an English accent.  That always helps.

Either way, this guy is on point.  Especially about the part where  he said "we all knew, EA knew.  Maxis knew" and they still put out this!.

That's about the most perfect indictment I've ever heard.  Basically, they knowingly bent us over.  You can't fault the guy in the video for pointing it out, again.

It should be pointed out over and over until someone figures out that you can't do this to people.  Forget about it being fair, it's just not right.

And that's a good thing which more people should continue to shout about.

To what end? Do you really think that EA, or any other games publisher, is going to forego DRM measures in the future just because people moan and whine about it now? It stops piracy, pure and simple, and no publisher is going to give that up.
