    sorry to bump, but heres my newest work on the building. as you can see, i have exported it. i will still accept sugesstions on what i can change. but here it is.

    the front wall looks flat

    add some curves or boxes out of it so it's not to plain and long

    as billybob asked me to, i'm adding junk to the walls. heres my start.

    their cooling fans to keep the buildings supercomputer well, cool.

    is this what you were talking about bobby?

    IMO the cooling fans are a nice touch.ANd it makes since for the building to have them since computers don't like humidity.So what building are you going to create next?

    im probably gonna make a Soviet Tesla Coil from RA2

    heres a prop that i'm gonna put in the yard around the building.

    this is a sentinel silo, that holds a gattling cannon to stop NOD forces attempting to get data from the GDI supercomputer. something is hidden in this building. GDI cannot allow to let NOD figure out about project Philedelphia

    Sorry havent posted anything here for a while, not that it matters lol. Anyway, its looking awesome! I might just be biased cause I like CnC but oh well. I don't think it looks like cheese, although I guess the golden texture thing is a bit strange, but I wouldnt change it. I like the little

    | thing you've put on it. With the lot I like the tank outside, like some high-level military officers checking out a new tank. I think the lot is a bit big, BUT most things like that are because the military does love to have their huge gardens around their buildings, so I think it is fitting. The GDI Symbol is cool. Does the building have lights? If you dont give the building lights, maybe a glow from the GDI symbol? Anyway, those are my opinions, like em or not lol. Great job though. Keep up the good work.44.gif

    Oh BTW would it be possible for anyone who is interested in CnC (and able to do this) to make NOD or GDI vehicle props or maybe driveable vehicles? I think that'd be cool.

    currently i'm working on props for the lot. there are lights, but it was taking too long for them to show up in the game. what i want to do is make only the white part of the GDI symbol light up, witch will take some serious booleaning. though i have to thank tragicomius for the yardstick he put in the stex, which without i would have really screwed this up. when this is done, im hoping it will be a I-HT ploppable. the paths are the bsc overlay paths, whitch i think look pretty good.

    has anyone noticed the tiberian building that came with the game? (i.e. kane's tiberium)
     
    but, could someone please direct me to a good tiberium texture?
    this is the only one i have, and it dosn't work for what i'm trying to do.

    this is gonna come out with a prop pack, including gdi vehicles and all other props i made for this.

    Yeah in Sim City 4 there's also a building named Havoc Bio enhancements or something like that which I think is named after the person you play as in C&C Renegade.BTW what are textures?

    well, to answer your question, textures are pictures (*.jpeg, *.png, *.tga *.bmp *.gif, etc) which you use for effect in buildings.  they can be opened and put on an object in the bat editor (please note the difference in my building before and after textures were applyed)

    I think its looking good. I like that you included Tiberium, however, I do think its a little goofy for Tiberium to be kept right in the back yard of an important GDI center. Especially the blue, because it is even more poisonous and flammable than green tiberium. But, I still think its good, despite the logic of the tiberium. Also, with the tiberium, I would have imagined being able to see a little bit of the black around the bottom. I think the contrast of the black and blue/green makes it look cooler.Plus to me itd be more authentic...but its yours and its great regardless.44.gif

    Yeah it's pretty odd to put a poison,highly volatile, crystalline compound in the backyard of a buiding with such important secret inside.Sure hope no one throws a cigarret out their car window and lands in the tiberium.But it still looks good though.But like pickle1105 said it should have the little blackish mound under the crystals like in the games but it's really not too important.

    well, what the point of the blue tiberium around the back is that researchers are studying it back there...
     
    and for some strange reason the black mounds went away in TS,  they were in TD though.
     
    i'm gonna release a prop pack soon with both color tiberium and two different riparus.  once i get a bit better at this i might try to make tiberium a flora type in the game.  oh and speaking of flora, i'm currently working on FS flora as another prop pack...

    Yeah but in Tiberian Dawn the ground was darker from the world's changes caused by the tiberium.Anyway can't wait for the giant blue riparus.Those things where some of the coolest of the tiberium flora.

    Well, as much as I like the black things, I have to admit that yes now that I think of it they are gone. And they aren't in Renegade either...I dont remember bout TS too much but yeah i guess....Actually, I'm going to check out TS just to see for myself I coulda sworn...anyway I guess it ok for studying but maybe put like a small shack out back for like a little lab thing outside or maybe a small fence around the tiberium area so it doesnt get out of control? Also, maybe you could make like the like tiberium formations if you know what I mean... I seem to remember (I dunno if they have anything to do with Tiberium but I kinda thought they did I dunno) those like blue shimmering crystal things? They always seemed to be near blue tiberium fields I think I dunno. I think you may know what I mean. But, as I said I dunno how much it has to  do with Tiberium or w/e.     Yes. Tiberium grows in a little base thing that kinda looks like some sort of mud pot. And if possible, make the tiberium a BIIG NIMBY.

    I wonder if it is possible to have the radiation clouds/puddles near it.

     

    Just think what your city would turn into if tiberian could grow like garbage which isn't exported or dumped.

    shattered tiberium
     
    i'm gonna also make a prop family of tiberium fauna...
    unfortunately it's gonna make the tech center take  while to come out.

    well, here's my work on the props.  theres two tiberium with a black thing at the bottom (one green one blue) two without little black things, just some bare little black things, and a blue riparus.  all i need to make now is a green riparus and some broken tiberium crystals.

    What are you going to do for the green riparus?Because remember the green used a blossom tree not a giant crystal to reproduce over great distances.
