How does your factory produce processors and why isn't my airport shipping freight?

Two questions:  My processor factory is importing alloy and currently has two delivery trucks, why is it not producing any processors at all?

Secondly, I have a cargo freight facility built at the airport.  I hold the cursor over buildings and they say freight is shipping well.  How come then has my airport never shipped out any freight?

Does the processor factory have plastic as well?

For the freight, the depots get freight shipped to them and it just disappears over time. Same probably happens with airports, unless you're saying that it's full. Either way, if your industry is happy just count yourself lucky. I've had empty trade depots two blocks from industry complaining about nowhere to ship freight.

I believe freight gets shipped to commercial...

 

As far as your processor factory...make sure your education level is up...as the other guy said make sure its full of plastic...and obviously water and power...and it has somewhere to off load the processors...
