Problem activating Simcity 2013 in Origin

Hello,

Within my household are several Simcity fans.

I activated the game under my Origin account.

Now when someone else from my household wishes to add Simcity to their Origin account, they simply cannot! Origin says that the activation code has already been used.

Is there not a way to share the code among the same household / on the same PC with all the Origin users?

Thank you in advance (don't tell me that we need to purchase more than one licence, that's not inline with French laws).

Regards

Complain to EA :)

Same occurs to Steam & UPlay. One game licence per account. (except there is some offer at Steam).

I'm afraid this is the new reality with EA games and gaming in general, you would either have to buy another copy of the game for your other family members/householders or be willing to allow them to share the use of your own origin account with you.

Long gone are the days you could simply lend them the disk that you bought. :(

this is one drawback to the way gaming is going these days greed and desire to control the market means innocent people can't even share a game :-(.

I think you need to look at the license you agree to before complaining.

Why should a single copy of a game be shared among many different players?

A whole gruoup of students could share a single copy.

Sharing is piracy no matter if is a family member or your neighbours get your own copy, If everybody did that there would no money in the kitty to fix the screw ups in the game
