heya mates, looking to get a 16-player region going!  achievement/challenges/leaderboards oriented but most of all helping each other out and having fun.  no requirements, only that you speak english (because i dont speak czecnorussialisharabaniguese).

 

post your origin name and what kind of city you want to build and ill add you to the list!  im no simcity pro so im not sure what the best composition of city specializations is, but i imagine as long as we dont have 16 residential cities it shouldnt be a problem! (feel free to give me some insight on this!)

 

FYI, the region will be on US East 3, and i'm probably going to start building in an hour or so.  ill check back here in a few and hopefully we can get a good group of friends and start having some serious fun!

ive been looking @ joining a region, seems all the ones on the list that are open to public either dont have any avalible citys (so why is it on the list of playable zones) or have city's half started and abandoned that i cant clam either lol!! put me on the list and send me an invite...

Anyhow Im not really sure what city I am forming but atm I am mining as much coal as I can from my deposits. Also keeping a balance of all 3 zones. An all round-city tbh. Let me know if you need me to specialise in anything? Also do you have any mind of what we should build in the special zones?

I've never played in a region with people who speak English and don't abandon cities half way through, so count me in. Origin name Muffins16. I'd look at probably being based on education & high-tech this time around (they go hand-in-hand afterall). I usually attempt gambling/tourism but everything went pear-shaped last time.

City was going fine, decided to go gambling since i had an excess of tourists, unfortunately a van got bugged out in an intersection causing traffic to completely shut down. I think I'll feed anyone with industrial focus simoleons down the line so we can get some great works going.

Thinking of prioritising industrial and mining in "Freeman's Reach" in this region. Off to a slowish start, looking after my citizens, and have a semi-upgraded Ore mine. Good so far!
