try scrolling down to initial defaults change some of those objects you dont want high(People quality, shadows, anamation detail, etc.) to your setting that will benfit to your pleasure.. that is the only one i would recommend changing just to see as far what the results would be when you boot the game back up

it does nothing to the fps :/
The only problem is the light setting, it works perfectly fine at the lowest but it also looks kinda ugly :/
I have no idea why light is such a big problem :/

I have the exact same thing. :hmph:

My graphic card should be good enough: Nvidia Quadro FX 580 (512 MB).

    Looks terrible right now.

My game had a similar problem.  Setting the fps limiter to 30 seemed to make it better for me. I'm betting its a problem they'll fix in a patch once this server stuff cools down.

A lot of people are having the same problem but are describing it differently. The 'Motion Blur'-topic in this section, for instance, is about the same problem.

When I set the light to "normal", it looks great. As long as I don't move, that is. Setting it back to lowest light, the screen moves smooth again, but looks awful.

    Really frustrating.

I have to play a minimum light, because even at minimum have a maximum of 15 FPS. It will be a patch?

    geforce gt520m 1gb

That setting controls the shaders of the game and also another 10 other advanced graphic settings. Some brain dead person from Maxis made it so and now not even PC's that run Crysis 3 can run SimCity on 60 fps on high settings.
