A bowl of Indomie chicken curry flavor instant ramen and a glass of milk.  I was too lazy to add in slices of chicken, egg, and onions...maybe next time.

Yay, I also now found some manapua, better known as char siu bao, which are steamed buns filled with barbecue pork.  I'm having an instant comfort food feast!  Of course, these went from being ready-made frozen to steamed, then refrigerated as leftovers, and now microwaved, but I'm too hungry to be picky over dim sum traditionalism.

Curried quinoa and amaranth.  I threw in minced onions, red peppers, green peppers, yellow peppers, celery, garlic, bay leaves, and even fennel seeds, making the house strongly aromatic again.

For the past three years, we have had some dry winters with the exception of some good days with a lot of rain. The Sacramento area is expecting a very hot summer, possibly some record breaking days (the highest recorded temperature in my part is 114 degrees F).
