zzsim and Kippis05 - They're animated gifs. I've used Adobe ImageReady to make some before. They're basically multiple images put together to give the appearance of movement. You can also take clips from movies or shows. You can export each frame and then import them into the program to create an animated gif. If you can't get ahold of ImageReady I know there are other progams that can do this but I don't happen to know or remember what they were. You could probably find a free one one the net somewhere. When creating then keep an eye on the size of the gif though. Simtropolis has file size restrictions on the avatar file.
