Problem: changed username, Simtropolis still forces me to login as my old username

I changed my username from "MeganiumLover" to "ReshiramLover" but Simtropolis said that my login info was incorrect when I used "ReshiramLover"!!! but typing "MeganiumLover" still logs me in even though my username is "ReshiramLover"!!! I would like this fixed!!!

I think you can only change your visual user name. I think changing your account name will be technically more difficult and I have my doubts whether this is possible regarding the sites database structure and coding...

Changing display name through your profile will only change the name that is displayed on the forum, not the one which you log in with.

If you are using a private computer you might want to check the "remember me" box when logging in, which will keep you logged in every time you access simtropolis from that computer.

If you want a more permanent option, politely ask an administrator, through private message, and I'm sure we can sort that out for you.

If you change your username you will effectively abandon all your prior work unless someone in the staff scans the entire database to fix it up. You need to understand the difference between login name and display name.
