I have been lotting some of these for Mika to make mega lots that will upgrade from $ to $$$. There are a variety of sizes all of which are growing and upgrading but still in testing.

    Barby,

Big big thanks! It all looks wonderful in your hands, as always. I didn't see your post, for some reason it was hiding in ST Cyberspace

    Some progress again...

More excellent work! The stuff that Barby has done with your work in the lot editor is beautiful. This new church you're working on is wonderful. The stone texture you're using is particularly nice and detailed. It's a great example of what a huge difference the perfect texture can make. Keep up the great work.

Oh my, your buildings are beyond amazing! They are spectacular, such original, beautiful styles and designs. I love the church, but also all your other lots.

I can't wait for you to release those lots so I can experiment! Great stuff!

    Choco.

All of these - apart from the latest cathedral - are now in the hands of the PCG at Pegasus' site for final testing and comments. They should be publicly released in 2 to 3 weeks.

Thank you BarbyW and thank you all of you - without you and your enthusiasm I would have given up already long time ago. Also the cathedral area - thanks to you - will see some daylight in coming days/weeks.

Indeed there is a lot of work behind this project... the lot itself is a massive 14x10 tile, which includes 10 new buildings, this church among them, but also the first ever Renaissance building, Cappello dei Pazzi.

Let me reveal you a bit what is happening

    Making of the lot:

    bmddevelopingscr1ca8.jpg

Adapted from Santa Croce in Florence, Italy. In this picture you almost whole length of the lot :

    mbearscrz5d1rt2.jpg

Nightlightning of the Cathedral was a particular pain to do, and if it were not with help of BarbyW and Vlakhaas, we would not have it ready yet, not with this quality.

    mbearscrz5n1vi7.jpg

From backside of the cathedral. As you can see, the nightlightning gave so much trouble that I had to leave the church with front lightning only. No complaining about this please - I just couldn't do better this time due to constant technical problems.

That's it folks for tonight 4.gif

This is really great Mika...! SO much detail, in so many different areas! Each of the smaller buildings could stand alone and be a work of art!

Thanks John and Jacky! Actually, I have already started to make castle wall puzzle pieces, but wanted Kwakelaar to publish his first, as they are really necessary to the game. My idea for castle walls would complement his. In any case, I am glad that the BATting for this is now over and I can start something new. ST member marcoxaero88888888 requested kindly something from his home town in Umbria, and I am taking up the challenge to BAT a palazzo that he found photos for. As a general note, you can make requests for me (not sure if I have time to make them), if they are of Mediterranean theme -> Italy, southern France, Adriatic area, Spain and Portugal are basically the areas that I am interested in.

    Thanks a lot BB 10.gif

Would you like a bit of Tuscany after Venice?

A Palazzo in San Giustino (request from marcoxaero88888888 in Italy) which will be a reward

    mbearpalazzobufalinitestd1ci6.jpg

this you will get as a reward after a LONG series of different Mediterranean farms, from which I will show you two first ones, screenshots courtesy of BarbyW:

Mika: As always I have to say: BEA-TI-FUL, just beatiful.

Mika and Barby, you are creating a hole new version of SC.

For some reason, ST doesn't show the first post on a page, before the second one is posted. Some called the first post bug.
