Ok! I havn't posted in ages, but i've been lurking *hehe*. That is one darn sweet region I was just thinking, will the population be near to that of the real city?

Thanks for the replies... sc4ky in real life the region is quite long, about 90km in length, im only doing about half the region which is the central and northern suburbs. In the real life the region population is about 1.2million i got a feeling though even with a game region half the size i think i will go way pass the 1.2million mark. But i cant reveal that information, so just sit back and wait.

If you want to see anything specific please just ask, maybe maps, stats or just certain parts of the city. I will hopefully this week get more suburbs completed to make a more complete region.

im pretty impressed with it so far cyber, at the moment im in manila, but ive spent a lot of time in Adelaide throughout my life, so this city is like my second home, the Riverland is my first, and Port Lincoln third.
I cant wait to see what your gonna do for Colonel Light Gardens, seeing as im also a Light he is my great great something, cant recall how far back, lol.

my bros house is in devon park, just below the region name of Regency Park on your city.

also, itd be wicked if i could get this region off of you, if its cool. also, since your'e doing Adelaide, im gonna do the Port Lincoln region. for those who dont know, Port Lincoln is a rural city 6 hours from Adelaide and has the most millionaires per head of population than anywhere in Australia.

Anyways u can download my region here , it just the region folder zipped, so just unzip it in ur region folder under my documents and you should be able to use it.

Well this is just a update of the developments over the last month or so, not too much has changed since I havent played the game much. If there is anything you would like to see or see be done dont hesitate asking. I would like any suggestions either about the city or the journal.

hey i was born in adelaide and moved up to brisbane in 2001. its good to see that someone is finally making the city of adelaide (and a very good one for that matter). Hope you make it very accurate i tried and failed miserably.

 

also, someone said that adelaide has one of the worst traffic systems in the country that is not true. in fact, adelaide has probably the best and most efficient. although we dont have any actual highways, we do have many main roads that act as highways (e.g. main south road and main north road etc). Also, the railway lines extend to almost all sections of the city and also the expressway controls peak hour traffic and makes main south road a little less congested during these hours.

 

i would like u to include my previous home located at Old Noarlunga on the corner of Main South Road. It is one of the oldest houses in the city at over 160 years.

 

hope the city turns out real good.
