Well guys this is a huge project for me and so in the next two days I'm going to get everything ready properly, I have a lot of the main areas developed but I'll start the CJ while it is not developed and show you step by step how the city developes...

 

 And another thing that I will let you know about the CJ, that a story will be taking place too on this CJ so that I combine all the CJ you can make in to one:

 

1. A city replace

2. A story

3.The steps of development

4. Secretly more ( lots of secrets I have hidden at this moment so that you all will be suprised...)

First of all I think that what I have now and trust me lots more will come is a good amount to make all the hype worth it, and ninto I saw your competition but I don't think that I will be ready on time since I surely have not finished the region and I will not put it in before it goes on the CJ

Wow, there seems to be a great deal amount of commotion for this CJ, after all this I hope to see this tomorrow in deed. Now shouldn't be 1 day instead of two since you do plan to release it tomorrow? Other than that I'm impatient and I really can't wait to see yet another replica of New York. BTW, dc82, made a perfect, yes perfect replica of New York, you can always refer to his journal if you need some help.

Actually DC's isn't PERFECT, it's scaled down a lot, but yeah other than that it really is perfect (although Newark and Jersey City and all are all industry).

Well don't expect it to be  the complete same thing because that is impossible, but it is a much much better New York than any other New York yet, and a nother thing, I won't be starting showing developed pictures tomorrow yet, later on they will come, and I have seen dc82s NY and my one killes it to death, and masher I did get some ideas from yours but not all just the hype not the idea with the people...

 

Now guys I want to make a super NY2 logo so if anyone can help on the desighn send me a PM!

whoa, whoa, let's not turn this into a competition... each cj has their own characteristics - some go for accuracy, others go for looks.  each is good in its own way, that's the beauty of simcity.

 

i built two ny cj's - one that is scaled down, and one that is in scale - both of which i've based heavily if not entirely on real world accuracy, not how nice it looks.  i optained the zoning guide from the nyc dept. of zoning, as well as personally touring the areas.  i'm always very excited to look at the the progress of other cj's, esp. that of new york, as i am a native new yorker myself.  but yeah, if we can keep this friendly when comparing each other's cj's it'd be greatly appreciated.

 

and in terms of jersey, bayonne, port elizabeth and the surrounding area is pretty industrial, but as u head up towards newark, there's still quite a bit of residential and commercial.  as u head towards the gwb, towards ft. lee and the palisades, u have some nice condos as well as a pretty big japanese shopping mall.
