i recently started seeing GLR for simcity 4 but i dont know where to get them. i dont see any tracks for it when i downloaded a few of its stations...any suggestions?

This is what you need

You can make roundabouts,glr trolley tracks like in the real world.Just click on the link on that takes you to the site and download it.Then it will appear in My Documents:Downloads.Unzip the file into My Documents,Sim City 4,Plugins.Click on the installer and follow the directions to successfully install it.

thanx guys. i put it in and it made my game crash so im digging it all out. ill have to figure out a new and inproved way to make my citys skyrocket. there are rumors of an angel statue that makes your pop skyrocket....any one know where i can find it?

The NAM isn't the problem, most of us use it without any issues. I've constructed massive cities around streetcar systems and other NAM networks. You most likely have a plugin conflict, or made a mistake when installing the NAM. A first time install can be overwhellming for a beginner. I would be sure you read over the readme very carefully and understand what each file is for before installing. The readme will give you step by step instructions. It wasn't until I did that where I got the NAM to work seamlessly with my city. If you're looking to cheat then you can use the special money park that gives $4 Billion to you per month, I know of no "angel statue" and I've been a member at Simtropolis since 2005. I would then suggest plopping everything if you want to build a skyrocketing city. I know from experience that population counts in SC4 are very unreliable. Don't put any stock in them. Besides if you're just looking to cheat then you can build anything you want. You don't have to have the population.

EDIT: For example (I am a cheater myself by the way): Here is a small section of my City. My city is entirely plopped, nothing grows. I think growing sucks in SC4 personally, not very realistic at all. Here we have a massive city, one that actually looks realistic, and the SC4 population counter is at...9,000. Trust me, population isn't worth fighting for, especially if you like to cheat at this game. Notice the streetcars?

its very unique, both in looks and function... ill be honest, i dont know how i was able to build up regions in the past without it!

just be sure you have both the ep1 expansion(Rushour,Deluxe), update, and bat update

Go to C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4\Apps and look at your simcity4.exe Properties > Details. Is your game updated to 1.1.640?

The angel (??) is by SOMY but I won't give a link to you yet. 99% of the downloads here are Rush Hour compatible only. And many mods will not work (including NightLighting for custom buildings) until you have updated your game to version 1.1.640.

yes i have rush hour...and i have the angel statue by somy but my population did not skyrocket like the guy's did off youtube
