Great downtown, love that river water...I remember using that when I built my Sessquenna region (Cincinnati map), wish I could use it in my city, but I have rivers and a VERY large lake...

looks like a city somewhere between Kansas City and De Moines. Nice mid-western feel. If you dont want to mess up your city but fix your demand fill in the regions next to it with what ever it needs. That usually is time consuming but worth it if you have your city right where you want it.

    THE CITY of TERRE HAUTE

A new park for the newly devout!

The new Central Park of Terre Haute has been constructed and the city is ecstatic to have such a beautiful and flowery smelling park. The mayor is expecting to be reelected next week now that his park has gained back fantastic reputation.

    Thenewpark.png

The paths and plazas provide plenty of walking space in a city that has grown exponentially in the past ten years. The people are now crying for better and larger infrastructure. For the past three years many of the citizens have had to carpool or take a taxi to their workplace due to the lack of bussing in the city.

    Thenewpark2.png

A highway is also being planned to bring more suburban citizens quicker. The Department of Transportation in Terre Haute has recently been granted five hundred and thirty million dollars ($530,000,000) to begin the construction of a city loop. The issue with the construction project is the high loss of historic buildings.

    Thenewpark3.png

I hope you enjoyed the park and a look into future posts ;D

Thank you for making Terre Haute the #5 on Ben's Top Ten!

    TERRE HAUTE STAR

Today is the day that the city officials have

the meeting on whether or not to build a city

loop around downtown. The loop would cut

    through historical neighborhoods, but decrease

congestion by a considerable amount. Civilians

from across the country of Daynemark are

attending the event expecting to get a word in

edge wise. While many of the civilians attending

this event have mixed feelings about this new

city loop almost all of the politicians are for the

loop and have already donated hours of time

to the effort of building it.

The city of Terre Haute is in heated discussion

about whether this is the right direction for the

city which is already seeing employment fall at

an accelerating rate. Mayor Dean has a lot on

his plate with even more to come.

We at the Terre Haute Times want to hear your views on the subject!

    City of Terre Haute

Today I discovered how to make the city lights work and so now Terre Haute is lit up brilliantly at night and in the evening. Take a look!

The mayor, like all politicians, definitely speaks from both faces when dealing with the public!

    City of Terre Haute

As the city grows so do the surrounding cities and towns.

The city of Bloomington has seen the influx of 24,365 persons since their 2010 census. Three new high-rises have popped up in their downtown. Luckily in the city of Bloomington Mayor Sharon McShurley loves the historic architecture from their booming industrial period. The beautiful courthouse still stands in the center of town.

    City: Bloomington

    Established: 1826

    Population: 79,426

    Mayor: Sharon McShurley
