I tried to upload to a forum thread a link to an image of mine storaged in imageshack.

The messege popping-up wrote that I can't upload that kind of files to Simtropolis. At first I did try to upload a png file, then I tried a jpg file.

What is the matter? Was the rules changed recntly?

Some of these photo sites offer different URLs with different purposes. Be sure you get the right one that contains your image.

The raw URL should look like this one (except its from my private site).
http://www.ezlink.ca/~jwinterton/Lincoln.jpg
Using the image box above this gets me:

Allright -- I copied the url shown in the "direct" text field - I use imageshack - and it works:

FalconsFan101, try to copy different links until it works.
