1.Dirk started this website.
2.He is a very busy man, but he is able to come out once in a while in his site.

2. He occasionaly comes out into the main Forums, but he is mainly working on the site or in private forums.

Dirk has a like just like most of us do and doesn't get to visit the site as often as lots of people here do. But I can assure you he comes out and exists.

Since this thread is about Dirk, I'd like to say that this is one of the best sites ever, though it's become way to large in the past 15 months, as it was at 35,000 members when I joined, and is now at 90,000 members.  That is significant growth in just a year!  Way too much for me!

Awhile ago I uploaded my new SHS signiture picture into my signature. I then went to check on how it looked and found that I had uploaded the wrong picture. I had uploaded the 800 x 600 pixles banner instead of the 300 x 50 pixles signiture picture. So my signature was overwelming every forum I had a post in. I quickley corrected it but before I had a chance dirk sent me a PM saying he was shoked about my signature. I told him what happened and I assumed he understood.

 

So there you go, evidence he does lurk around here.

yes dirk posted more likely in the begining , i think the reason had to do the population was not very big yet , more personal you know..
