Hey guys, I need your help to beautify my city.

I want the edge of the avenue complete with sandstone, like in the densely built areas. Here I would like to know how this is possible even at a roundabout. And how do I get these three lanes?

    1. AVE-4 zoning has been known to be rather finicky in the fact that if something is zoned or plopped next to it, instead of one to three adjacent tiles showing wealthification/sidewalks, the entire section of AVE will show sidewalks.

If you're asking to have it be all sidewalks, the AVE has to be touching mostly medium to high-density zoning. If it's touching more lots (parks, bus stops, etc.) and low-density zoning than it is med/high-density, it will essentially show grass instead.

Roundabouts follow the same rule, especially with the AVE RA.

    2. If you've been seeing three-lane roundabouts, let me warn you: That's not part of the NAM. It's actually a lot-based eyecandy RA filler; The third lane is nonfunctional.

You'll need the following mods to eliminate grass textures next to streets, roads, one-way roads, and avenues in your low-density areas:

    - removes the grass "tree lawn" from streets and roads next to low-density zones.

    - removes the grass "tree lawn" from avenues in low-density zones.

    - removes grass textures from the small 2x2-tile street and road NAM roundabouts.

    - removes grass textures from street, road, avenue, and roundabout tiles that are not covered by the mods above.

If you are registered at the SC4D LEX, you can also have the sidewalk next to your railways with the SFBT Rail Texture Mod.

I assume EA/Maxis did this because otherwise only one side of the avenue would have the texture, right?

After 10 years, I doubt that anyone at Maxis remembers what they did in that regard.
