Seperate Rush Hour

Any way to just get the rush hour expansion for sim city 4?

I believe the only way to get it is by buying SC4 Deluxe = SC4 + SC4 RH.

If you find a new, unused Rush Hour, it most likely will cost more than the Deluxe version. Amazon.com has it for about 15 USD.

All things being equal, you can probably download Deluxe from one of the legal sites for the same bucks, and it comes already patched to the highest level and runs without a disk in the drive.

The rush hour version is kinda obsolete since deluxe has come out. There is no real reason to get rush hour because deluxe will probably be cheaper and includes rush hour.

You probably won't want them if you do find them. My disks have deteriorated even after very careful storage. I will be buying the SimCity box when I get into town. My rush hour play disk is hanging on by a thread.

Everyone should understand that CD's and DVD's do deteriorate over time. All the hype about being archival turns out to be speculation. Once the metal substrate starts separating from the plastic, it is game over. The bonding falls short of being great.
