Hopeless romantic.  I think most Americans tend to be ridiculously optimistic, assuming that things will always work themselves out and that we'll all be fine in the end (something I learned from living in Japan for so long and talking to non-Americans about how they view us).  Even the cynics will say things like this!  Besides, it's such a nicer way to live.

It wasn't meant to be a list of discontinued brands, I was just filling in the American brands that were left out of the previous post.

Full moon.  Bring on the crazies!  Even though that's a myth.  On a vaguely related note, I once started dating a girl on a Friday the 13th Halloween party in October which coincided with a full moon back before I went to college.  It didn't last of course, but still.  A few good months were had.
