As promised in Joergs Olympic thread... Some of my scetches. My soccer stadium, the Roost Arena, and my swimming stadium (diving part, speed swimming not finished yet, but same style)

At the moment I'm ding some work on the swimming stadium platforms-tower as well as the final things on the tennis stadium. Ill post some pics later. You dont see much difference on the tennis stadium cause its more the detail and liting im working on. Coming soon. (I hope)

the stadium looks awesome~!!! i want it now! and for the overhang part, i think it should go, or atleast make it mostly see-though. it's been over a week, where's an update?

I agree with jtportland that the overhang should be transperant, maybe with a framework being shown, or something. It hides all of the great detail of the seating and railings. Have a think about it though. Good work so far.

I havent been batting this week. I'm a bit sick so I don't feel like batting much. But it was my plan to make the roof transparent. Im working on the construction that supports the roof. I hope I feel like batting this week, to make an update.. but nothing much added to it recently

Im finishing some old projects of me now so expect a few uploads (farm, rowhouse, the lowrise Buidling of Van Landschot and the tennis stadium. Here are some screenshots of the rowhouse. Its going to be a R$$ 2x1/2x2 lot I think :

Another Update then. Except for a bit of liting Im almost done with the rowhouse. That needs an answer questioned, so I took the next one. The barn. After my HDD crashed and the first one I started that was almost done at that time, I started new a while ago. Here's a pick of it. Think this one will be done tomorow and uploaded then too...

i recon that building - saw it on my trip to den bosch/eindhoven, it's near the station! i even made a photo of it - for as far as i can see you've capture the building quite well! my only comment would be the lack of windows, all you see now are holes with glass - there is just something missing (maar misschien ben ik ook wel een muggenzifter die erg op details let ) great bld anyways!

When do you release that barn and rowhouse?

I already have exported the barn and it's being lotted.. the rowhouse is done, but Im thinking of how to export it.. (LOD/lighting dilemma). The Tower is ready but Im having trouble placing the spotlights outside the building right so its coming up soon too.

I found out after the render I hadn't centred it, so I would have to render it again. But Im trying the 3ds Max now, so I should be able to make a few improvements to it. Thats why it is not on the Stex as I type. Its really cool to see what that program can do!!! On the rowhouse Im doing some gardening. I'll post some pics later.
