I refrain from escaping cops in vehicles. too much hassle. a walk in the park on foot, but in a vehicle it's certainly more complicated

I've found that I tend to do the same, I'll outrun in a vehicle for awhile, usually to get to a place with cover from the eye in the sky

Hmm Ive noticed that when stealing a plane the AI is far less likely to spawn police helicopters if you are flying over land. Instead, it will spawn police cars, who don't see you because you are flying. Then its not so difficult anymore to outrun the cops. 

 

Also, Ive seen that you can actually hide in bushes from the police.

yeah you can actually hide in bushes but it's sort of tricky... just like hiding round the corner. might work, might fail. it seems that it's the easier the darker outside and the darker you're dressed.

Yeah I figured that with the popularity of this GTA the online stuff would crash. Kinda stupid considering that they had 3 weeks to gauge demand and prepare accordingly.

I'm all for joining a gang, but I think Im one of the few here who has it for Xbox. 

 

Also I took a look at the editor. Pretty funny idea to let your face and stuff depend on how your parents and grandparents looked.

wow, the PIS scheme on BAWSAQ was a great success... I sold now and got +144% and +99% return rate. too bad I only had little money to invest, single digit million on both.

Talking about the stock market, is it me or are there a number of stocks missing? Those Lester missions usually give you a hint in who to invest, but half of the time I can't find the stocks hes talking about.

Also I invested in PIS after I beat the game at $12. Sold at $17 I think. Made some good money. Bought a tank with it. I love this game.

I haven't bought the game yet either but im reading on forums that there are no police or ambulance missions is this true wtf? if this is true notice all the modders for gta IV police. I think its a war on modders again.

War on modders? Huh? How is leaving out a specific gameplay structure a war on modders?

the majority of mods in GTA 4 are based around police missions. I always watch the GTA 4 RCMP clan police mod on youtube. I was excited for them modding GTA V however I think rockstar may have stopped that from happening.

Alright, I finished the main story. I have to say, I'm a little disappointed. I had hoped there would be more heists where, especially more heists where I don't lose all the loot to someone else.

yeah there's too many heists where you walk out empty...

but then again, there's enough ways to multiply that money, especially with the tips and tricks to stock market trading (and the occasional scheme going on on bawsaq)

Hmm so far Ive had little luck playing the stock market. Also doens't help that my connection to the Rockstar servers is pretty bad. 

 

Also, now that I think of it, investing in property is actually a pretty bad deal. It generally takes between 10-200 weeks before you get your investment out of it.

No but the problem is that they are pretty much the only missions that pay out directly to the player. Of course, the heists are still a lot of fun to play. I hope they add some extra heists through DLC or something.

through the story for a few days now and just realized I didn't doo all to well, especially at the end... bummer...
