Does anyone know what's up with the SimCity 4 Deluxe website. It was down for a couple of days and now I can't login. I type in my password and then it just disappears. Once I was directed to a new site and it asked me to reregister. It asked me to type the words I saw in the box as a security measure, but there was no box and there were no words. Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks?

When I try to download something, anything at all it says: Sorry no lots were found matching your specification. Please try again. Even if I just click on something generic like residential, industrial, civic, most downloaded and so on . . . I get the same message???

It probably has something to do with the fact EA just did maintenance on the SimCity 4 website yesterday.

I can't login either, but you shouldn't be downloading from their file exchange anyway. There are a lot of viruses and bad lots on there. Stick to moderated exchanges such as the STEX.

You need the EP1 Update and Update4BAT, make sure to pick the correct region (SKU) when downloading the first update.

Well.. I downloaded the sku 1 cause I'm in North America?(at least I think thats what it meant)

Where can I find the 2nd update? I can't find it :S

That is for original SC4, so use that instead of the first update if you DON'T have Rush Hour or Deluxe.

The home page of the site no longer appears when googled. I checked out the EA forums and it seems a user posted that it was down, there has not been a response from an EA mod/admin yet.

I think EA is focusing on their "Good Games" like Battlefield 3, Need for Speed: the Run, Mass Effect 3, NHL 12, 2 Expansion Packs of the Sims, NHL 12, Madden NFL 12, FIFA 12 and the Sims Social...

Seems like they are leaving us behind...

Pradeep: I am sorry that to inform you that the Sim City 4 is down for maintenance and our developers are working on fixing it as soon as possible.

This is what an EA tech support assistant told a user trying to get the updates. Hopefully this is correct.
