    Thank you all for your fantastic comments.  Sorry for the delay in updates, I have an unreliable computer!

    Update 3

    The expansion of Blackberry Inlet.

    I will have another update up very soon but for now take a look at my attempt of a mosaic.

    This picture stretches from the newly created railway in the north of the city and comes down to the centeral intersections and past the nice suburbs.

    That is a long sweeping shot of Blackberry Inlet.  A new city full of happy residents and a young population of previous members of Gold Depra.

    All of my images are hosted off-site.

    Great mosaic. Just the spaces don't work on my mozilla ...

    I love that long railway bridge. Just one question: Do you hjave the BridgeHeightMod? I am asking because of that tiny slope before the bridge. With the mod it could be flat.

    Anyway: Great work! (I wish I had 5% of your terraforming skills ...)

    EEK! Excellent mosaic Max, it looks really great. I love how the city and the landscape fit seamlessly together, no rough edges or anything. Keep up the great work!

    My second peek in Chocolate Max. Figured I better comment on a fine CJ, eh? Great work on the mosaic! I scrolled up and down it quite a bit. The train is my favorite. I am always looking for trains, plains and hard to snap photos.

    Also like the name; Green Depra. beautiful terrain and tress too!

     @poops2u  Thats okay, double posts are fine.  Means more replys to me! 2.gif

    @ Nardo69  No I don't have the bridge hight mod, but I like how it starts before the actual cliff but I'll look into it. 19.gif I'm not sure whats wrong with the spaces, I think I've fixed it.  Is it still off?  Thanks for your comments.
     @RadioheadFan Thanks, I was aiming for a blend between the city and the landscape. 48.gif I though I'd put some quotes in as a kinda joke, I'm glad your proud!
     @ frndofyaweh Thank you very much, I'm glad you popped in.

    Mikeaut1, sorchin, MrVegetable, sim1234,  Mexicanboy13r and of course jacqulina Thank you all very much for your fantastic comments! 3.gif Cheers, choco.

    Now onto the update:
    GD-logo1.gif
    Update 4

    The development of the Blackberry township and its transportation networks.

    One of the small housing developments that has recently popped up around the town centre is known as Red Brick Lane, its a long twisting street which is home to many middle class sims, it was picked as one of the most beautiful streets in the Green Depra area.  Here are some pictures taken from the air of this tiny yet beautiful lane.
    minisuberbs.jpg

    The lane streches from Blackberry river to the start of the South Cliff.  Here is a larger picture of this area.
    Blackberry-Inlet-Mar.jpg

    This is a nightime shot of this street.

    Blackberry-Inlet-Dec.jpg

    At the end of the lane, it moves up an embankment and joins with the main North-South Avenue.

    Blackberry-Inlet-Feb-houses.jpg

    The street is still growing and I will come back with more pictures of it later.  But right now lets look at the newly established Long Depra Railway.  A small railroad was originally built on the farming island of Black Ash, and there was also the inner city railway which was in the mosaic in my previous post.  Just recently they have been connected to form the Long Depra Railway.

    Blackberry-Inlet-Feb-train.jpg

    It passes through the farm lands on the end of Black Ash Island (actually in the shire of Blackberry Inlet)  The farms in Blackberry Inlet are much larger than those in Black Ash.

    Blackberry-Inlet-Feb-farm.jpg

    It moves over Blackberry Bass (which I will show you in the next update - sorry) and it moves through the centre of the town, it passes over the main avenue intersections and past the New Depra Soccer Stadium (NDSS).

    Blackberry-Inlet-Feb.jpg

    That is all for todays update, thanmkyou for reading.  Please leave a comment, I really appreciate it!  Next update I will show you pics of the new airport which has just been created to handle the massive intake of new residents and tourists from Gold Depra and Red Depra.  Cheers, choco. 1.gif

    The red streets look nice in those neighborhoods, especially going through the high-wealth areas. Reminds me of a place I was at once, though I can't remember where exactly. And I like the random rail shots you throw in for variety.

    Wow, I've seen a LOT of CJs...but, WOW.  I no longer read or comment one CJs much anymore(only in one regularly, and another from time to time), because not much amazes me anymore, I thought I had seen the best of the best, but, wow.44.gif10.gif16.gif  AWESOME work dude, it's perfect!44.gif10.gif  How do you get the red brick in all weath types? 42.gif  All I've ever seen is one that only shows up in $$ and/or $$$, so, how do you get it next to farms?  I'd love to know.29.gif9.gif  Keep up the good work dude!44.gif29.gif

    oroen, thankyou I also like the red bricks, I think it gives the city a colourful touch!
    SC4 meister Thankyou very, very much!!  It makes me extremely happy that you hold my CJ in such high regards!  The brick streets are a mod I downloaded, it makes them appear as the default streets for all weath levels! Its great! You can find them here!  Thanks dude!
    RadioheadFan   Thanks!  I'm glad you are following this CJ, I appreaciate it!
    sim1234 Cheers for your kind words, I hope you enjoy the upcoming updates.
    Oh and a big thanks to SC4 meister and sim1234 for sticking Green Depra into your signature! 44.gif

    Okay, now onto the small update for the moment.  More first thing tommorow morning (it really sucks being in another time zone because I miss all the crowds!
    <ahttp://www.geocities.com/chocolatemax285/GD-logo1.gif align=baseline>
    Update 5

    Green Depra hits the airways!

    The creation of Green Depras first airport will open up the countries oppertunities.  The tourism industry was growing and the huge influx of new residents has created the need for an airport.  The Green Depra City Council considered building a smaller strip but decided the best way to get a big number of passengers was to build big.
    align=baseline>

    With the building of a new airstrip it was decided that a new transport overhaul will be needed for the commute into Furnace Hills (the industry town next door to Blackberry Inlet) a small tunnel was created under the airport but as yet its still being decided as to what other major projects should be passed.

    The East side of the new airport.
    align=baseline>
    This new airport is creating a boom in commerce but is also causing a strain on the infustructure and transportation networks.

    Sorry for the shortness of this cj but the next one will be a large update focusing on the transport networks of Green Depra, and it will also give you some ideas of the major development that has taken place.  Probably a region shot or two!  Keep those comments coming!

    i like what i am seeing here.
    i'll be honest, chocolatemax, when i first saw your journal, i didn't like it - it was unique, yes, but i didn't really like the trees...that is until how i've seen how you have used them, and i like it a whole lot better now. this journal has really grown on me.
    keep up the great work.

    Wow, you're still amazing me dude, which is hard to do these days, so stand proud!44.gif29.gif16.gif10.gif  Keep it up man, it's AWESOME!4.gif  Can't wait to see more of the transportation network, could we see a pic of this tunnel?  Also, I really like how you did the slopes on the side of the airport, good idea, looks very real somehow, and is usful since you have to have a perfectly level plot of land for the airport, good work!44.gif  Keep 'em commin dude!  Sorry for taking so long to comment, my computer is being a royal pain.27.gif8.gif28.gif  Hope to see a new update soon!29.gif44.gif
