Wow! that is great! Everything looks very nice!.. The palm trees do need a little more help. I think. But hey that's just me. They look great anyways!

Hey hogmeister, glad you're teased. Makes the photo sessions all worthwhile... You have no idea how long it took to get those reef sea shots. Those unbecoming boats take a million years to move into frame at the same time! 24.gif23.gif9.gif

Goldiva, using a dirt road Modd really makes your last screen shot look like its somewhere in South America.

    Thanks for the positivity!

I finally launched these new stuff in two packs:

GDV Mayor Mode Tropical Tree Set
    - coconut tree single
    - coconut group of 3
    - coconut tree over water
    - oil palm tree
    - banana tree
    - mangrove [water-enabled]

GDV Mayor Mode Tropical Sea Set [all water enabled]
    - 4 boats: sail, speedboat, kayak orange, kayak blue
    - reef [looks different all 4 angles]
    - rocks

Go download and make some tropical diving resorts!

And yes - all above are mayor mode tree PLOPS. So the mayors can now plant coconut trees in unsuspecting sims's backyard lol. User-made canals and streams and lakes should get busy with parked boats...?

Jeroni: actually it's your request for a mayor tree plop tutorial, and andreas' response that led me to finally getting down to BATting some tropical trees. I also found cycledogg's stunning CPT trees very inspiring. Took me awhile to work out how their mods work but I got there. In the process of poking around the Reader I also accidently discovered a water property which made plopping these trees on water a possibility... and btw your embankment sets are really cool. Saw them in some CJs and was wowed.

Lord Bertrum: South American looking indeed. The tropical forest visual is actually based on South East Asian, where I am [singapore]. Brazil and Malaysia do have similar vegetation. The reef looks is based on Aussie great barrrier reefs though.... And you can find tropical vegetation in New Zealand too...

tanpinquan: Yep the reefs can be sprayed under water or on land...

And thanks again everyone for popping up to say hi.

    Have fun...

@Goldiva: Wow, I'm speechless (but that's not exactly the reason why I post this so late 2.gif )! First of all, welcome back, and you really managed to come back with a big hit. The tropical flora looks awesome, as well as the beach and laguna stuff. The diagonal piers are great in particular. 35.gif
