Goldivas GDV BAT Projects

I've just uploaded a new custom NightWindows color palette with 15 new colors, which BATters can use to create new night windows or neon signs. The possibility is endless! Here's pic. I shall also announce this upload at the BAT workshop area [someone asks for this some time ago I think].

Smurfer, good to see you around. Came our of nowhere...yeah I guess I'm the obsessive, process type creative, when I start working on something I dissappear until it's done to my satisfaction. For example, I wanted to balance one of the existing nightwindows colors, and somehow I ended up spending the next few hours making the new 15 nightwindows colors and packing them up for release... I wasn't joking abt x amount of phonecalls ignored /dinner missed etc. TG my man is understanding.

G I really like your new water taxi station, I think for maybe a future update to that lot or maybe even a whole other lot you could make a dock for the taxi boat you made and the normal ferry boats. Keep up the great work, you continue to impress me!

Hey G,

Very Nice work. I have been using your Yacht Club for a while so I guess a thank you is in order. I have been doing a little BATting of my own. I still need to figure out nite windows but I am starting to grasp the whole 3d modeling thing. With some more practice I might be as good as you someday.

Two minor questions, if i might be permitted to ask.
-Your electronic toll dosen't seem to work on one way roads, or at least, i can't get it to. Am i doing something wrong, or was it not made to do this? How could i fix this?
-Your pedestrian bridge is stuunning, by far the best looking on the STEX, but i don't want the toll feature, the details page mentions turning this off with the lot-editor but how exactly do you do this?
I apologise if those seem dumb questions, but i'm fairly new to the whole editing of files thing.

Otherwise, excellent work, do keep it up.

Hi everyone. So long. Good to see STEX is still thriving and all. I've started playing around with SC4 after a recent new install on my new pc, and been BATting again. Here's what I shall release this weekend...

Part of my ongoing tropicalisation project... Kinda timely for those who live on the northern hemisphere, as summer holiday's around the corner.

 

Spot the new stuff...

 

- Coconut trees

- Palm tree

- Banana tree

- Mangrove

- Boats

- Rocks

- Reef

 

All are mayor mode plops. The wooden jetty is a new building/lot, which I decided to turn into a ferry.

Here's another pic...of a tropical island with reef. Based on a diver's island in Sabah, Malaysia. Looks a bit like Maldives too, with the shallow seabed...
