  1. Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce Branch

Wow, I had no idea it was only the fourth largest bank, as its the most prominent in BC. Anyway, nice work.
  2. Date: 10/2/2005 4:15:29 PM Author: toxicpiano I think i walked up to every one of the above buildings in seattle. although i prefer british columbia, CA to washington state, US.quote> Yeah, I'm disappointed that there aren't any Vancouver landmarks batted yet.
  3. NDEX City Tower by Superstar

Been waiting for this one. Great job.
  4. Tonksies BAT Thread NDEX

Looks great, definitely does need more detail on the front. I think the front needs a railing as well, or at least a sunken deck.
  5. Cool, I'm from Courtenay, of which Comox is a suburb, my sister works at the Black Fin.

  8. AnnoyingDans BAT Showcase

I think it needs a different base. The last 3-4 buildings have all had the same base, and basic style. While I like black/dark buildings, some variety with them would be better than them all being so similar. Just giving it a solid base rather than the columns would make a big difference. Other than that, great stuff. Its nice to see more dark buildings.

Date: 6/16/2005 4:50:10 AM Author: petriknl I think there are just to many buildings in the world who are so great that we need a bat of them... to bad.. But maybe some new monuments like statues, fountains, etc could be nice. Or variation in schools, police, firedep., hospitals, public builidngs could be nice Governmental buildings like ministries.. ( I guess I spelt it wrong but ok) quote> I totally agree we need more statues and monuments. Clocks too! I love that monument that Frogface made. Problem is, its really the only building of its kind, so I tend to overuse it.
  10. Need help with CDK

I'm getting really annoyed by the CDK now. No matter how straight and level I get my shores, the CDK lots still lower the terrain. I had the land kinda high, then placed a lot to get the right height, leveled it all off using the road tile method, then using the leveller tool made my shores all nice and square. Then I go to place the CDK lots again, and it lowers the terrain to the point that its underwater. Its a real pain. Took me an hour to do my port, now I'm trying to do a fishing villiage and its just plain not working.

How about some sims that you could just download into Rush Hour? quote> Wal-Mart Pier One Target Theres a CompUSA as part of Simgoober's Large Shopping Center nomad1 did a bunch of amusement park rides you can use to build your own park. Plus theres the Thunderlooper and Splash Point water park lots.
  14. A mix of both. I don't use a lot of RCI ploppables, but if I see a building I really like that doesn't have a growable version, I usually get it anyway. I download a lot of utility and civic buildings too. The game needed a lot more variety when it comes to its civic buildings. Especially Police and Fire stations. The stock buildings have a more chicago or new york style, and I tend to prefer the Houston or Euro style buildings, so the STEX is a great way to give me some stuff that fits my city.
  15. Mall unfinished

My only problem is the parking lots. With the standard parking lot texture it just looks off. Maybe if you did't use the grass underneath the parking lot overlay it wouldn't look so wierd. Malls are usually on big paved areas, not big grassy areas. Other than that, looks great.
