Michigan travels to West Lafayette to play Purdue this weekend. That should be a most interesting game, especially seeing as how Purdue lost to Wisconsin on Saturday. If Michigan stands any chance their offensive line needs to kick some serious ass this weekend.

After that, they face MSU in Ann Arbor. Seeing as it is a rivalry game, let the trash talk begin!!! (I'm going to abstain until I see how they fare against Purdue though)

    State does work worldwide.
State has a better basketball team.
    State is a larger school.
State has a nationally ranked physics program.
    Better mascott.29.gif
State didn't take Affirmative Action to the extreme.
State fans are NO WHERE near as ARROGANT as Michigan fans.
State has a more scenic campus.

Hey Bud, I don't want to nag, but is it still possible for you to whip up a quick tutorial about scaling?

You may get a more detailed description on scaling if you post the question over at Peg's Website.  Try it there.  If I had time, I would honestly scale the entire model for you, but I have an exam tomorrow, or wait it's 2:30 a.m   TODAY!!

ADMINS, this is just friendly rivalry:17.gif

Just becuase it's big doesnt mean anything.  It's more difficult to get into Michigan than state.  If we lowered the bar, this school would have like 55,000 students.  Besides it's quality not quantity.  Plus, our students are not housed in cell block dormitories like the students at MSU in sprawling complexes resembling urban projects.  Most of our dorms are built as quadrangles in the typical East Coast or Cambridge style architecture.16.gif16.gif16.gif16.gif16.gif16.gif16.gif16.gif

I probably shouldn't comment on affirmative actions since my friends are in the room, this site will tell it all: http://www-personal.umich.edu/~ifmuth/ifmuth.htm   I had to make this site for a school project.

Also while you are there, check out the beauitful campus.  Yes, it has less open space and stuff.  But it's located within an urban enviroment.  I love the fact that I can exit class for just five minutes and run across the street to get a sub at Jimmy Johns.  But if you are in the mood for nature, North Campus has nice rolling hills and forests between its buildings.  Now don't go bashing our locations of various portions of campus, becuase the bus ride from Central Campus to North Campus is actually shorter than the time it takes the average MSU student to get to any of their classes.29.gif29.gif

As far as arrogant, how can we not have a quality comeback when state fans tend to initiate the argument.41.gif

AGAIN, admins, please note, this is all fun and games.  A typical college rivalry.  We are really all like brothers here, and I'm finding this quite enjoyable.

Well I can't argue with some of those points, they are good wolverine.
Werd you can't make a statement like that; PROVE IT! That's just like politics when people say they hate Bush or Kerry but have no real reason.
    Anyway...
You can get Jimmy Johns at state, and right around the new residencies, there are some medium density buildings.
I do agree with you though, the dormitories at State are, well, small. But the older halls are really nice to go into, even if they are tiny. True the new ones do resemble housing projects.

I really want to work on another BAT project, and I have been really favoring doing PCEP. For everyone not familiar with Plymouth-Canton, that is where are high schools are located. Anyway, I think it would be awesome to have that in-game, a very unique, simple, and effective education system. That would be one helluva project though, BD knows what I'm talking about!

Oh and Wolverine, do you have any idea of when you can start working on Ford Field again?

Alright that is some good news Wolverine.
Well I'm super bored right now so I am gonna fool around with the BAT. How did Michigan do today? I didn't watch the game.

I just saw that PEG released his new work onto the STEX... That kinda takes the fun out of being in PPCG over at his site. Anyway I figured I'd stop by and see what is going on.

I'd rather fight the Spartan than the wolverine. Wolverines have a tendency to be quite the nasty critter. As a matter of fact, I'd rather run into a bear than a wolverine. That's how nasty those suckers can get.

Anyways, I've been bogged down with RLS, primarily work. I'd whip up that tutorial but I haven't been getting home until 9 or 10 at night after waking up at 6 in the morning. I've been attending some seminars to get better acquainted with some of more inticrite controls, safeties, blah blah blah, that I deal with. It looks like I'm going to bogged down here for a while as the busiest time of year for me has begun now that the cold weather is here to stay. Whatever free time I have been getting has been spent watching football and hanging out with friends and family. So unfortunately it does not leave me alot of time for much else other than sleep.

So I'll try to help, but things will be slow going from my end. Later...

Also, in the movie Red Dawn, when Soviet forces invade the US, it's a group of teenagers who call themselves the Wolverines that terrorize the invaders and end up forcing the turning point in the story...  I remember because I had to write a paper on the movie in school!

I can't believe it took me this long to find this! I was looking at the Edmonton, Alberta project TheJerseyDevil73 is working on and kept thinking I wish someone would do a Detroit project and here it is!!

I downloaded the Uniroyal tire a while ago from the LEX . . . do you guys plan on putting all the buildings up when you finish them???

I'd offer to help with the project, but I don't know how to use BAT and I'm totally bogged down with school work right now (last year at Michigan).

In any case this TOTALLY ROCKS and I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it all! 4.gif

I doubt I'll get any BSP work done this weekend.  I'm going to a frat party Friday and then the game on Saturday.  And then Sunday I'll probably be doing homework.

    Pictures for the website guys?

Johnny Spirit is an ass. I think alot of people would love to beat that guy senseless if given the opportunity. Although Home Depot must love him considering how much paint he must go through.

You work at the Cold Stone Creamery huh? I'm assuming you work in the one in Plymouth. That's kind of irionic, I was just in there last week getting a treat for my girlfriend and myself.

Wolverine, is that a picture of Spartan Stadium on fire in your signature? Awesome!!!!!!!

I'm sorry wolverine but you like look a 10 year old! 18.gif

Wow. The game was amazing. We all saw and I'm not gonna complain or whine. Dowdell just isn't good enough. I knew we wouldn't win as soon as Stanton got hurt. All in all, besides the fact that MSU lost, it was a good 5 1/2 hours of my life.

Now let's go see who I picked in my NBA fantasy draft. I scheduled it for 7:00 hoping the game would be over by then . . .

btw, wolverine: Please change your sig. Not because it is defacing MSU but because it's just wrong. Your'e promoting arson and it's just wrong . . .

Well, I just got back from the E.R.  they had to surgically remove my heart from the bottom of my foot from all of the heartache I was suffering during the game.  They said that it was good that Michigan won, because if ............ well anyways, that had to be the second greatest game I have seen in my life( the classic Michigan/Northwestern 100+ point game being the first) and we came out on top this time.  Hey ert, you need to change your sig..... the wolverine is an endangered species and it is illegal to have them in your scope.

I don't know what to say, I'm in my finest hour.  Today has been such an awesome day!
I was going to post animated gifs and stuff to show how excited I am, but I left a party early today because I am so tired.  I actually think I'm going to go to bed soon, despite the fact that we gain an hour tonight.

BTW, ert.  That picture is my facebook image.  For those of you who don't know, theFacebook.com is a social network linking college students together.  Ever since I put that picture up, 8 more girls have added me to their friends list!

Well I missed a lot in one day! Actually BD I work at the one in Canton-Ridge and Cherry Hill, it just opened yesterday. I fell asleep for most of the game because I was so tired, then I woke up to see us blow that lead. Whatever, what's done is done.
It has been a real long time since anyone posted any updates on their projects...15.gif
I have been pretty lazy lately though, so I can't complain.
I can't believe that Michigan Stadium can hold what is it, like 111,000 people? That is huge.
