New NAM Logo Poll

 

The New NAM Logo Submissions have been rummaged through and a final decision of 6 submissions were selected for the poll of which one will become the new logo for the NAM site http://www.stnam.com . It was hard to come to this decision, but realize that all the submission were good. The submissions are listed below with the correspding creators name next to it. Vote for the logo you think is the best by selectin the creators name in the poll. Have fun, and remember, BE FARE!!!

well i voted for buster bc i like the style of it, i like the other ones also, but i just like that one the best out of them all.

I voted for kagevrtugol's. I think his is really nice and simple and easy to understand. Although, I do prefer his yellow version on the other topic.

i had to go with buster's. It seems to fit the whole theme of the nam. and looks easy to build a design around.

i like Joe90's the best... it sums up the NAM (the higway sign.... kinda shows it's a network), and it also has that nice picture up top... not to mention it's the only one that has the word SIMTROPOLIS on it... after all, the NAM was thought up, started, created, and tested (still is) on simtropolis.....

I liked the one from Joe also the most. Did not have any assosiation with the USA when I saw it and I'm from Holland. I liked the drawing in it and also the mentioning of Simtropolis.

Toxicpiano is really nice, looks very professional, but I had to go with busters. To me, it says 'roadwork ahead' , and isn't that what the NAM is all about?

Joe's is too complicated for an everyday logo, but, perhaps it could be used for something else.

I would just like to say I'm very impressed & appreciative of those who have contributed. Some very professional looking. I am a little disappointed though that some did not make the final cut or that more were not added.

 

I haven't voted just yet, but I am leaning towards Joe's because of the theme it has.

kagevrtugol's looks like that thing you see when your loading a setup wisard to be honest...

busters looks like something I'd see as a redirector picture...

 

desz02091's looks like a transit athority on the side of a bus(I may request that when S.A.C starts taking requests again)

and ToxicPiano's looks like the label on a NAM disk.

 

 had to choose  Joe's and Buster's...so I did a rock paper,sicors,I call apon the magic eight ball,I used some dice and choose one even and one odd,and I fliped a coin.and I got Busters out of all that.

 

I'm surised that ABNStuff's logos didn't get picked at all I liked his.

I really like Joe 20's, its fantastic! I also like kagevrtugol's, it stands out and looks really cool, I hope one of those two win. I am surprised to see buster's in the lead as I think it looks a bit plain (sorry, no offence buster! )

EDIT: I really liked Murakumon's last one. It looked very profesional and I'm saddened that it wasn't in the final cut. I think more should have been in the final vote.

As for many of the above, my vote was between Joe's and Buster's, but I went for buster's: it is bright, it is bold, and it relates to the NAM. I believe a logotype should be like an Icon, something that gives you the image of the product at first sightning, just like McDonald's or the Windows logo; it should be easy to read and call the attention of the viewer.

I also liked the old-fashioned style of Joe's but to tell the truth, it doesnt iconize the NAM, and the b/w really don't say hey! here is the NAM!, let's face it: people like shiny things!. Also, it isn't very clear,I mean, you have to analize it to find out it's a high way if you don't know what the NAM is about. Although It'd be good for banners in the web page.

Well I voted for ToxicPiano, but I think it could use one last final touch. I don't know if it's just an optical illusion, but it seems that the arrow is completely smooth. It appears to be a little jaggedy. Everything else looks amazing, and it is top-notch work, but I noticed that before and I think it could use work right there. If that could be fixed, I will be very satisfied with my vote.
