The sentence "Compatible with all other mods" is often just a standard sentence without any meaning.

Nearly every modder use it, maybe also because it is a part of the CXS modding threads schedule. Most times it isn't really approved.

Anyway, you should try to remoe all mods except the unlocker than you can see whether or not this is the problem.

All buildings unlocked... now the boring part (adding descriptions in all languages, fixing simulation and creating icons).

Hope I'll be able to finish this part this week too, so next one I can complete the work!

I can't remember if I already told this:

models of beach and ski gems are no more included in 2011... so I'll have to upload a separate patch to add all these buildings. Unfortunately it's a very big patch (88Mb) for Simtropolis... and not very easy to download.  Any ideas?

PS: for all people asking to join beta, the answer is simply no (for many reasons).

A simple idea: split the pack in four parts. That would leave four files of about 22MB and maybe less when compressed into ZIP-format.

I would suggest to host it on a different site. Simtropolis is really slow or stops have way. Many free hosting sites are 10x as fast.

Recently I found Dropbox quite easy to use. It gives you 2 GB free space and you even don't have to launch FTP client or internet browser.

I hate Rapidshare... as a standard user I have to wait 60 seconds to see the file has been removed or the servers are full!

How about filefront/moddb? I now them to be very fast and great for mods. I'm even going to get a CXL page on there right now.

I think the fastest way for distributing it to more than 10 people would be as a BitTorrent. It would certainly encourage legal torrenting.

Tzar, better check who said what. As DICK60 said, I didn't state GlobexCo is dead. On the contrary, I think he's quite busy with the mod right now! Now, what bowserchomp (check your quote: it really sais "bowserchomp" as the author) said, that's just plain rude. Better check your resources twice befor posting next time
