Just wondering...hehe...

I only have one pair at the moment, black on black vans slip ons. I've only been buying because they're relatively unexpensive and I don't have to tie anything;

What shoes are you wearing? Post a pic if you'd like! 9.gif

I have some old Lonsdale shoes which leak and have some random green shoes from Nike I think. I'll be getting new Lonsdales on Saturday.

A pair of Birkenstock sandals with back straps for people with tiny feet.  Most comfortable shoes I've worn in quite a while.

I don't pay any attention to the brand of my shoes. All I know is I have these rather torn up tennis shoes, some brown sandals, more dressy shoes and flipflops.

I don't feel like taking pictures of my shoes either...

Right now? I'm barefoot. I don't wear shoes around the house. 31.gif

Now, if you're asking what shoes I wear when I am wearing shoes... well, there are four differnent possibilities...

Sneakers: New Balance. I don't know the model number, all I know is that they're four years old and rotting. I need new ones...

Boots: L.L. Bean all-purpose boots. Snow, work, or hiking.

Dress Shoes: Bostonian. Um... they're black.

(Waterproof) Sandals: Nike ACG. I almost never wear these. they're only good for the beach or pool (both places I never go) or canoeing (which I do once or twice a year).

Digging around my room I can also find a pair of Bass dress shoes and Land's End waterproof sandals... both are about a decade old, neither still fit. I have a bad habit of not throwing things away. 3.gif

Normally, I prefer Adidas Sambas. My current of pair of Sambas are 2 years old, as are the Street Courts since they were buy one get one half off... but the Sambas are totally worn out and I haven't yet got another pair.

I also have a pair of these guys. They are over 4 years old but still pristine. I wear them only on occasion.

And had to by a pair of Champion's till i can get a pair of reboks some were.

I only have 2 pairs of shoes, the ones i wear all the time and a pair of nice uncomfotable black dress shoes

I have many pairs of shoes, but some of them I only wear occasionally

Sneakers (leather): Nike Composure SI, Lacoste Carnaby ET

Sneakers (canvas): Converse Chuck Taylors, Vans... something... not sure what the name is, but they're black low-tops

Formal: Clarks

Flip Flops: Hollister

I also have a pair of Adidas Superstar 2s that I've worn to death. The soles are worn, the white parts are yellowed, and the leather smells funny. They've been essentially replaced by the Nike and the Lacoste shoes.

How do you guys get along with so few shoes?  I don't even like shoes and I have a lot more than that.

Black, dark blue, and tan shoes that can I wear with dress pants or a dress.  I have them but I don't use them much since I retired.

Reeboks:  dress white, dress black, grungy white, grungy black.

MBT anti-shoe (the precursor to the Skechers shape up):   Great shoe.  I highly recommend it.  You can't walk and slouch while wearing them.

Sandals:  various colors.   Casual, dress, and beach.

Water shoes.  can't forget them.

Slippers.  only wear them in the winter.   Just wearing socks now.

and then there are boots.  Dress boots, snow boots

and I don't even like shoes.  There are many I can not wear because of early ankle injuries.

How common is it there to wear socks with sandels?    I know a few people who say it's just what people do down there.

Unlike 99% of women who have a shoe fetish and a closet full of shoes, I don't need dozens of pair of shoes.  Don't see a point to have more shoes than you'd wear in a lifetime.  The pair I mentioned above [the chocolate brown colored suede Nikes] I've had for 3 years still look brand new and will last me at least another 10 years.  Not bad for a pair of $55.00 Nikes.  I do have a pair of some no-name Wal-Mart special workboots that I've had for 10 years and paid $19.99 for.  So really, why would I need that many pair of shoes?

I don't wear shoes around the house. Oh and in Texas during the winter I don't either. But during the winter down here I always wear my boots.

Well, in addition to the ones I mentioned I also have a brown pair of dress shoes (GBX) and a black pair of dress shoes (Baracuta). My boots didn't quite make it through the last winter, but they did last me 14 years so I can't complain. They were actually hiking boots, made by Asolo. I haven't bought another pair yet.

But I typically just wear sneakers.

I will get a pair of Sneakers and will keep them till They lose grip and start to slide around on me, usually I get new ones every 4-6 months, not a shoe person.

As many have said, I currently have naked feet, but am contemplating donning my Dearfoams.  My years of wearing Reeboks came to an end when I had achilles tendon surgery.  For some reason, they made me limp.  I was resigned to this until I discovered Keens and Tevas.  I am on my feet for 90% of my workday, and forgoing The Agony of De Feet is heavenly.  Many of my coworkers swear by Crocs, a shoddy piece of workmanship if ever there was one.  For dress, Earth Shoes are my favorite, and quite wearable.  My high heel days are also over, but a pair of black patent leather Mary Janes almost make it better.

I presently have 3 pairs of shoes.  One pair of dress shoes (which need replacement), one pair of general purpose tennis shoes, and one pair of general purpose hiking boots (which I am wearing now).

It's easy.  My boots work for all casual occasions, wet weather, cold weather, carrying heavy loads on my back, and so forth.  The general purpose tennis shoes are useable for all sports activities I engage in, plus suitable for all casual activities too.  My dress shoes are black, and I don't own any dress pants that don't go with black shoes, so I never need anything other than black dress shoes.

Ouch.  I knew somwonw who tore their achilles tendon and was in rehab for a very long time, but he was young and he healed quite nicely, though he doesn't play sports anymore in fear of tearing it again.  It's too bad that you can't wear the Reeboks that you were used to wearing, don't know what I'd do without my Nikes, which I've mentioned in an earlier post, are the only type of shoes that my feet don't ache in.

I have a shoe rack with several pairs of shoes, some dress, some walking shoes, some high-siders.  I am wearing none of them at the moment.  I generally bare-foot around the house.

I generally wear my Birkenstock sandals... I also have a pair of brown Converse that I wear during the colder months, and they also make my feet look flatteringly small ! 5.gif

I plan to go buy some more shoes soon, however... hehe...

Most of the time are my black with checkerboard laces low-top Converse. But unlike Ecoba, they make my feet look much bigger then they are..I think it's cuz they're a size or two too big...
