Fantastic so far.

In my opinion, though, there have been many Manhattan-based CJs here. As someone from Queens, are you going to extend your journal to have a more outer borough-centric view?

Not that I have any problems with Manhattan. I live in the East Village, after all, work in Midtown, and always find it fun to see the recreations of what I see every day-- and you've proven yourself capable.

I hope, though, that you do go onward beyond the scope of the City. Queens, especially, has so many undocumented sights that many overlook. Yeah, people have assumptions about the Bronx, Staten Island, Brooklyn and Jersey... but Queens has so much untapped potential.

Either way, I see you're going places with this journal, and it seems that it will, though similar to Lucky7's journal, provide a different perspective.

I'm eager to see this journal pan out.

PS- I'm glad you didn't get shot. I'm a Detroit-native, turned-New Yorker.

I'm sorry everybody, I haven't gotten the chance to update anything in Sim City 4 considering I'm BAT'ing for it, and other things non-ST related, but I do have a small update for you guys today, if some of you aren't already following me on the NYBT forum along with the rest of the team, I'm primarily here to insure you guys I am alive

Lucky7 - I'm not very skilled at LE, but I will try to integrate into some of my creations like you do.

UltraGIR XL - Well, I would like to go outside of Manhattan, and into the other boroughs, especially my beloved Queens, but I haven't necessarily worked on the other boroughs yet Lol, but in due time I do want to work on the other boroughs.

Cdmp123789 - I never technically left. lol

I want to make this update and from now on, different from my previous updates, considering my CJ is called " Eyes though a New Yorker ", for every update I want to integrate at least one real live picture I've taken while in the area I'm recreating, unless of course it's one of the ghetto area.

As most of you know, the new world trade center building is being built as we speak in downtown Manhattan, the building right now is probably a little taller because I did take this picture in December, I'm still trying to get into the habit of picture taking as I don't really do it in Manhattan because i don't like looking like a tourist

i will probably update the picture one day, maybe in the summer.

lol I would consider your post as 'really being alive' lol, good work. The Freedom Tower under construction does already look quite impressive... Super idea to add RL pics in every update, these perfectly match the title.

Wakita. Harlem is the last place you want to be in New York. Besides it's " big clean up " it's still really dangerous.

i don't see any reason to photo shop the picture, a lot of those cars are on the stex. like the buses and taxis, i guess it's just bad quality :3

This is great! I love your map of new York. Do you have Staten Island? Will you be doing the whole map?(Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Bronx) Please do the ghetto and the hood areas too! I really like your buildings. Can you please make some Queens style houses, brownstones and row houses. I can't wait until I get my new laptop so I can recreate New York too. And my own cities.

This goes out too everyone else. All of New York is not the ghetto or the hood. (Yes the ghetto and the hood are two different things but not too different) Also, all of New York is not just skyscrapers.(I hate when people think New York is just a big city full of skyscrapers, the ghetto, and the hood and no houses) Queens, and Staten island is mostly houses. And yes, there are mansions in New York. The big houses are near the beaches (Coney Island, Rockaway, Long etc.) in New York and Queens(Jamaica Estates, etc.) and Staten Island. If there are any questions about this post, feel free too ask me.
