How do I get my upload in the STEX spotlight?

I made a really cool discovery, and I uploaded it, but it don't end up in the STEX spotlight   The

upload even has 4.95 rating and it's popular, but if it's in the spotlight, then I would get a lot more downloads, and more people would learn of the discovery I made (SimCity 4 Realism mod)

How do I get it in the STEX Spotlight? what do I do?

As far as I'm aware, the STEX Spotlight is just a random recent STEX upload. So, there's nothing you can do, you just have to get lucky.

This idea may change the fact, that the STEX Spotlight is randomly chosen.

I'm not sure that's the case...I've seen uploads with a cumulative score of less than 2 stars popping up on the Featured Spotlight, with more comments (usually negative) than downloads...

Ive had my uploads on the spolight before and from what ive seen Its based on views and comments not downloads or rating. I rember this becuse one of my uploads that made the spotlight had a lower rating than one that didnt but it had more views and comments

People seem to view the spam uploads alot to comment negitivley on them thoose views makes the section bot think that its a popular upload when its really not. Changing it to a rating/download basis would help with that.

Also just igroring a spam upload until it goes away will help it not get views. Remember Dont Feed The Trolls.

I'll second everyone else. Also, maps don't seem very likely to get on. I've uploaded maps which have over 4 stars and quite a few comments but they have never got on the spotlight, even ones that everybody liked.
